  1. Goddamn, I didn't notice that until now. Can't believe how fake those bricks are.
  2. I was expecting The Room to be just a really bad movie, but I have to agree with Gubaba that it's actually very entertaining. Just about everything that could possibly go wrong in a movie happens here - bad dubbing, horrible lines, characters disappearing and reappearing, sub-plots that just vanish, bad CG effects and an overblown budget ($6 million, to be exact). Yet unlike Uwe Boll, Tommy Wiseau's lack of talent (namely writing, producing, directing and acting) has actually been embraced by the general public. Why exactly, I don't know. But I still get a kick out of seeing people react to The Room.
  3. Magneto as RoboCop... something doesn't sound right about that.

  5. I'm surprised no one's mentioned this. The constant appearing and disappearing of subplots and characters make it qualify. Hell, the video game adaptation proved that it is sci-fi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCj8sPCWfUw
  6. Introducing the newest video game critic: Uwe Boll, eat your heart out!
  7. Might as well classify this under sci-fi... Abduction
  8. I have here the 2005 Gladiator Extended Cut DVD. Basically, it takes most of the deleted scenes shown in the Extras disc of the 2000 release and places them into the movie. Is it better? Not really; just longer. Still the same viewing experience as before. At least you have the option to watch it in its original theatrical form (which Ridley Scott prefers). It's too bad this version doesn't have the History Channel documentary that came with the 2000 release.
  9. I'm so glad I pre-ordered this badass figure. S.H Figuarts Gokai Red
  10. Actually, there's an upcoming Mulan film directed by Jan de Bont (Speed 1-2, Twister).

  12. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution and Jackie Chan's 100th film, 1911 Revolution premieres in Chinese theaters on September 23 and in Hong Kong on September 29. The film is directed by Chan, who stars as revolutionary leader Huang Xing. The film also stars Chan's son Jaycee Chan, Li Bingbing (Ni-chang in The Forbidden Kingdom), Hu Ge (Xiaoyao in Chinese Paladin), Joan Chen (Wan Jung in The Last Emperor) and Zhang Ziyi (Mulan, Karai in TMNT). 13. Just in case anybody here didn't know: R.E.M. Officially Disband After 30 Years
  14. HIGHLANDER II: THE QUICKENING (1991) I've seen the original theatrical release, and yes, it was crap. I haven't seen Russell Mulcahy's 1995 "Renegade Version" or the 2004 "Special Edition". Anyone care to discuss?

  16. Actually, Peaugh has been doing Super Sentai toys for the past couple of years (right around the same time he started reviewing Macross toys). Fourze is his first dive into Kamen Rider toys. There are other alternatives for tokusatsu toy reviews other than CollectionDX, such as Soundout12, ShukuenShinobi, zeronxepher, DOSMrider and Jedimon2005. TF reviewer ballmatrix also does toku toy reviews, but his knowledge is crap as he often uses Power Rangers terminology. And then there's CCLemon99, who probably has the largest toku toy collection on YouTube. Unfortunately, he's a complete shithead to his viewers and he merely buys the newer toys to tell people how much he hates the current shows.

  18. And here's another video review of the worst henshin belt ever made. But here's a surprise - it's reviewed by none other than our good friend Peaugh!
  19. Fourze has one of those? I didn't notice through all the fast-forwarding. Now we know what you fap to on this show.
  20. ... And that's all I have to say about this week's episode.
