  1. Good gawd.... those were generically hideous! Even some of Hasbro Transformers classics line where somewhat better. I was hoping the plastic would feel and look like the Arcadia VF-4G 1/60 or Yamato/Arcadia VF-1s V2 1/60. I'm tempted to get the VF-2SS Nexx but with this plastic quality and finish I just can't justify their MSRP
  2. For those that have this, is the plastic the same as the Arcadia VF-4G, Yamato 1/60 ver 2 or Yamato 1/48? If not, any comparable toys out there?

Woah..... is that a custom Alaskan Base Valk??? I hope Bandai do an HMR of that too!

Just when you thought Yamato 1/48 was a nice size for a display piece, Bandai will refresh Macross with the 1/35 line. Starting with H Ichijo T.V. ver. Here's the link, enjoy http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=43122
  5. If done right, the story line could have been just as great as its predecessor. But the one thing I truly love about MII is the VF-2SS Valkyrie. It looks stunning and bad-ass! At the time, the only toy like was the Bandai 1/100 transformable kit. And now even with ET 1/60 Nexx I'm still hesitant to pick one up

I thought 1/60 ver 2 were a perfect scale yet not as complete as the HMR 1/100 line. I'm gonna try to refrain from getting the 1/35 line

Appreciate the info! Yeah I was comparing prices and shipping and these fukkers jacked their prices up 25k yen...... hell nooooo! Preordered from AmiAmi instead, despite limit to 1

I never shop here before. Do they want payment upfront or pay later until item is in stock?

Well for a non-transforming Regult, I'd anticipate some extra love in the detail dept to justify the cost.
  10. Missed out the Yamato run. Soooo... glad I waited and not forking out $700 secondary market. Can't wait to get this Arcadia one!
  11. I'd have been very happy if ET just do exactly what Bandai did with their 1/100 transformable model kit. Love the color of that kit but would have been nice in the 1/60 scale.

Gawd damn! I've been out the loop since Yamato handed over the torch to Arcadia. And now this Bandai Hi-Metal R line is just bombarding us with a slew of characters. As much as I love the 1/60 line, these 1/100 is clearly a more complete line. That monster can not come soon enough!! Totally dig their boxes! Love that "Hi-Metal" label just like the old school boxes.
  13. haha TV white for shooo! You may want to research the upcoming ///M2 also while you're at it. I've been wanting an ///M3 since high school but never thought I could ever afford one considering all this plastic crack addiction with Macross toys! I've actually been selling a lot of collectibles that I no longer want just to clear up space and extra cash to fund my car and maintenance. Gonna go over the list of things that I no longer want or can live without.
  14. My closet is pretty much full. Don't know about everyone else but its getting to the point where I had to use part of my pantry. I could rent a storage space but even for a standard size closet is more than what I'm willing to pay. Like everyone else, I love these amazingly engineering high-grade collectibles toys but now that I recently bought my ultimate dream car (2013 BMW ///M3, the last and final), I may have to take a few steps back and consider selling the ones I no longer want. Now don't get me wrong about how kool these toys are but that ///M3 sporting a V8 naturally aspirated engine 4.0 lit 414 hp is just a pure joy and a driving pleasure!
  15. You're pretty much SOL man! The 1st run seems to have QC issues and its pretty much a hit and miss scenario. If you can manage to glue it back then its still a worthy display piece for the 1/48 line
  16. and... after seeing the prototype of Rook and Yellow Dancer, I thought it was so.... so close to completion!
  17. I'm not feeling it with that loli-pop candy stripe color scheme! And its over $200!!
  18. I have a hard time understanding why peeps does not dig the rainbow-tinted effect on the canopy over a plain clear canopy that is just looks plain!
  19. and I thought these were just an exact toy of the ver 2 but unassembled. Didn't know toys require glue?!
  20. uuuh glue? I thought these kits don't require glue. Aren't the parts attached via screws?
  21. uuuh no dude! Toynami only held the rights to distribute the Cyclones in the North America. If Toynami were to design and build the cyclones, its like asking for another tsunami while Rosanne Arnold singing the "Star Spangle Banner!" at the Giants game!! Hence, the 1989 earth quake
  22. ^ Are those Orguss a knock-off ver of Takatoku Toys?
  23. No link or source(s)!? Either way, I'm not gonna desperately fork out these ridiculous arbitrary prices even if Arcadia proceed with the production
  24. That fighter mode is hella sleek! Are the wings sweepable tho?
