  1. Has anyone built these destroids from hobbyfan? How's the quality, accuracy and level of detail?
  2. You're not suggesting, that just because I have access to a rapid prototyping machine, that I'd build some high detail microarmor-scale Unseens, are you? And I certainly wouldn't do them for everyone that's interested. Because that would just be wrong... And I've tried googling for pics. The problem is the most people (understandably) take beauty shots. I need shots of the joint mechanisms. It's hard to make a CAD model when you don't know what the base looks like.
  3. I've been pining for a 1/144 Monster for quite some time. The only one I've seen is from some guy named "Lokhobbies" on ebay. I'm reasonably sure the kit he's offering is a bootleg of the Club M. So, does anyone have any opinions on this guy or his work? And feel free to point me towards an authentic Club M. Or any other resin kit, except for Mike's (Sorry, it's just too big for my needs. Looks cool, though.) This here is what I'm talking about.
  4. Hi all, If anyone has any destroid kits, could you please post some pics? In particular I'm looking to see how all of the joints, especially in the legs, work. Pics of the Tomahawk and Spartan would be great. Thanks in advance. And in case anyone is wondering, I'm working on a 6mm (1/285) scale project.
  5. Well don't I feel silly. I'll add to Armentage's challenge... Do it in 3D, and I'll give you a free mini of it*. *certain rules and restrictions apply Watch these forums for the real announcement.
  6. Hi all, There's a really awesome cgi armored battroid on the main page to this site. Anyone know where it came from? Who the artist is? Contact info? Where to get more pics/views? Thanks in advance.
  7. Well, the only Monster kit I've seen that has that kind of detail on the inner half of the arms is the 1/144 Yellow Sub kit. (Not that I'm claiming to have seen it all.)
  8. That's awesome! Thanks for the fast response and the great info! Now I don't have to go begging for one
  9. I'm looking for info on these 2 battroid kits from Wonder Festival '99 (or 2000?) http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/models/wf/vf1.htm I don't know the names around here very well. I assume that Daryl and Black Aces are the people who provided those pics? Anybody know who these kits were made by and where I could get them? And what the "proper" name for these kits were? I'm also assuming they were done as one of those "licensed for 1 day only" specials? If that's the case, and they're OOP, anyone willing to offer one up for a re-cast? I'm hesitant to ask something like that here, but I REALLY like those kits (easily my favorites, from what I can see) and would love to get them. I appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks.
  10. Thanks. I'll follow up on both of those. BTW, that is one kick @$$ fighter!
  11. I'm interested in producing various Macross mecha is smaller scales. Anyone here have any experience in dealing with Big West? I'd like to get a license and be nice and legal. I don't speak Japanese so going to the BW website doesn't really help me. Anyone have any advice? Thanks.
