Hmmm, I don't think I ever contributed to that thread...
Ones I have kept for myself:
4 1/72's
11 1/60's
9 1/48's
8 1/48 FP's
At one time I had much much more... but they have since been re-allocated to other fellow MW'ers. Shoulda kept all those Low Vis though darn it!!!

If you really want a first release, buy a brand new second release and trade with me

Hell with it all!!!
Let's make Jason Statham the next Bond!

I guess it'd be about half the size of the SOP BPX-01 Yamato. How much did you get it for? Is it made by Bandai?
It's about 14-15 inch long and I guesstimate 2.5-3.5 lbs. I got it for $130 shipped and it's made by Aoshima.

I have one of those too...those pics look familiar. Ro...bo...?
Not sure what you're trying to say, but I took those pictures last night with my digital camera.

Just added a new toy to my collection. Pleasantly surprised at the heft of the die-cast content, and pretty pleased with the aesthetics of the toy as well.
-
That's exactly it. When I was younger I would always be envious of the nice transformers, takatoku valkyries and what not other kids had. Now that I'm working and can afford to get these toys... I do so within my budget.

Give me more Metal Material Models!!! I love how heavy those things are.
And yes... please make some Gasaraki toys!
Although I do have the 3 Bandai models, but I have to work up the courage to start on them. Just have to learn how to paint.

One thing to remember about the high prices of a lot of what we get, though, is that we pay a huge premium for importation. For example, a 2500 yen MG sells for 40 bucks here. Or, you can get a Tokyo Marui MP5 RAS for Y19,800 in japan, but I paid $320 for mine.
Yes, let's not forget that importation can be a big part of the toy's cost.
And on that note..... as far as Macross toys go.... there is a reason why we have to import it and pay a higher cost than we could have otherwise paid...
Macross Licensing issues anyone?

Another one for Soze.
Thanks man!
One up for RicePiece as well!

I'm very happy to see that the blue is more traditional as opposed to that baby shower stuff. Kick ass, indeed!
Here's a color comparison.....
Max is walking his cat.

Hehe, you should ask him if they are going to make a 1/48 SDF-1 anytime soon.

Naruto is good. I guess you'll have to keep dl'ing the fansubs from AonE which in my opinion are pretty good. Or you can buy those bootleg DVD's from stores like www.import-anime.com.
I've been reading the manga.... and it seems like the anime is going to be airing on TV for the next few years in Japan. The manga is pretty far ahead of the anime.
Oh Yeah....
Rock Lee RULES!!! (read the manga)
YIKES!! Another 10 years? Geez.
Anyway the thing is...
1)I don't have the hard drive space to download the eps
2)The TV out from my nVidia GeForce2 MX card absolutely REEKS! And no way do I wanna watch this on a tiny 21" monitor.
3)I would much rather buy them on dvd from anyone, as long as they're as good as those AonE and AnBu guys or whatever. 65" RPTV>>>>21" PC monitor. Link please!
Well.. actually I burn the episodes to DVD in its DivX file format. Burning to CD will work too, but seeing as to how you can only fit 4 episodes to CD and the number of episodes there are... that's going to be a bit more work. Then I hook up my laptop to a TV and I can watch it on the big screen.

Anyone had any luck removing that mouth piece of his ? There's a mouth and set of teeth underneath it.
You're joking right?
Actually... there is one. I think there was a picture on these boards a while ago.

I say a true holy grail should be the "Tetsujin 28" Large Popy. There's no other toy in the world that have a bidding price end around $1200 - $3000 depends on condition.
here's my 2 cens
L,
Tetsujin 28 is definitely the Holy Grail of Godaikins/Popys. Not sure about all toys though, I'm pretty sure there is always something worth $$ out there.
Anyway here's a Tetsujin 28 that sold for over $5,000!

6: Complete Bandai/Takatoku Macross 1/55 Line (again, it will never happen)
Why not?
Well, I've got almost all the re-issues, so that will happen. But I don't feel like spending for the Taka Elint's, Super-O's, etc.
