Hopefully what we have to look forward to is a nice reasonable break for the wallet.

All right, while we're at it, what the hell does:
"Inigo Montoya" mean?
Is it Spanish or something?
Geez Christopher....."My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die."
<inigo montoya>I want my father back, you son of a bitch!</inigo montoya>

Guess there IS a good reason to buy the new Smokescreen repaints.
They included a missle launcher this time!!
Smokescreen pic from Tokyo Toy Show
from ToyBoxDX
hmmm...
Although I like the idea of him having a shoulder mounted missle launcher like the G1 characters used to, I also liked how for the Binaltach/Alternators, Takara was trying to keep everything contained within the vehicle, with weapons from engines, exhausts, etc...
It just felt cleaner and smarter than having arbitrary weapons attached to a normal looking car mode. But that's just my opinion.
But since they decided to do it, I wonder why they didn't use 2 shoulder mounted missle launchers instead of 1 like the OG G1 characters had?
It supposedly has a new front bumper too. I hate it when they do this.

Wouldn't that be a big shame
heeeeey...that's not nice
It's all good! I drive an Accord, so I got no power either hehe.

is that a 2.5rs?
Wouldn't that be a big shame!

i look forward to seeing your collection Soze, is there any eva SOC that you think stand out more than another? if I ever decide to buy some i would like to get the best one first.
Purple one will be reissued so you should get that, because it's the main character as well as having a different head shape from the others.
The chrome and black ones are good as well.
If you're like me... get all of them.
-
wow the evas are on the small side arent they i was thinking bout getting them but i might pass.
Yeah, they're small, BUT their poseability beats the !#$@1234 out of the rest of the SOC line. Those EVAS can get in some of the most amazing poses.
I'm getting my GX-23 next week as well. (Along with 5 extra ones I need to sell, so I will post those up later.)
I'll probably get around to posting my whole SOC collection (1-23 + some B's and the Aoshimas) when my room is done being remodeled.

Congrats! Now ya gotta load her up into the Max & Millia baby pod and take her home.

Are all these newbies on drugs or something????
Oh, let them be.
I'm going to wait for the next delusional person to say....
"It shouldn't be that hard to make a ray-gun to enlarge ourselves to the size of Zentraedi. Just attach a flashlight to a broomstick, put a hair drier on the other end, and plug it in."

i saw on the web site says aniticpated release on winter 2004, written in jap but can read a few chinese words.. so i guess must be about then about end of the year before they will release it.
If you factor in the delays, it could come out early next year.
Or in another 2 years like the YF-19FP.... should they decide other things are more immportant.

Damn, legos are becoming so cool now! Those are cool lego builds.

anyone know a place to fix a minor bent rim in orange county, CA?
I recently bought a set of 99 JDM RX-7 wheels, and one of them was just slightly bent. I brought it to Rimpro in Gardena, and they fixed it for $85. Took a few days, but they do great work.
OK, it's not OC, but most of the more well-known/reputable wheel repair shops aren't in the area.
There's another one in North Hollywood called Tru-Wheel:
BTW, I like what you've done with your car Vostok!
That's a nice looking front spoiler - much better than all the over-the-top STi Ver* & Greddy crap that everyone's riceing out their Subarus with nowadays. Man, I remember back in the day (before WRX's), when putting any sort of body kit onto an Impreza was instant grounds for being called a ricer. But I digress...
Felix
Thanks dude! Carson is close enough I guess. I'll give them a call.
-
Lol. I think the term you want is ricer!
Anyway, I don't want it so I can "be JDM", it's more of a joke anyway. Still, I think it's cool in that it's so unlike anything the average american driver would do.
Naw, ricer is if you put some gaudy unpainted white bodykit on your car and a giant multi-tiered aluminum wing.
Vostok 7
You forgot the stickers!!! Those Fast and furious stickers that add that extra 20 HP!!!

I guess the WRX is only pleasing to the eye for a few of us.
I like the Honda Element as well, so go figure.

Rewooh, there are only two Japanese companies that make Macross Plus toys. Yamato and Doyusha.
Doyusha makes 1/144 scale, mostly die-cast versions of the YF-19 and YF-21. However, they are in fighter mode only and non-transformable. They are also out of production and are getting difficult to find.
Yamato makes 1/72 scale transforming toys of the YF-19, YF-21 and VF-11B. these toys are made of ABS plastic with some die-cast parts. The YF-19 has the highest die-cast content, the VF-11B the lowest.
Most of the Yamato Macross Plus toys have been out of production for a few years now and so are quite difficult to find. The most recent releases are the YF-21 FAST pack version and the VF-11B FAST pack version released earlier this year. Both are quite good toys with no fragile parts.
As others have said, Yamato is doing a resculpt of the YF-19, which should be released next year.
Graham
new here, I was just wondering what people thought of the Bandai Macross 7 versions of the VF-19s and VF-17s?
I thought these were actually Macross 7 Valks and not Macross Plus valks?
-
Nice Vostok 7, real nice. I like how you kept it clean.

I'm anxious to put my wheels back on. I miss them.

Do those axles really have enough support for jumps???

You can buy mine Soze.
LOL, that's ok. I'm happy with my car. Of course if I was wealthy, I'd love to own all those cool import cars.
Man one thing I would love to get is a Nissan Verita!
-
Wow, I didn't even know they had them at SA! Speaking of which, did you happen to take a look at shift knobs when you were there? I'm triyng to find one of those tinted clear plastic ones that are currently the rage in Japan. (With or without bubbles is fine)
Dude, just checked out your car. Sweet! you did the SR20DET swap! I've got an 6th Gen Accord Coupe.... it's a cruiser, so it's not fast. Those damn sluggish SOHC V6 motors!!!
