Thought I'd also mention the optional fixed pose hands are MASSIVE! look a bit out of scale.. definitely won't be using them

finally got it to gerwalk. Looks great in this mode! very tough! @Lolicon.. I do like fighter mode but yes it is a bit chunky and some of the joints are a bit gappy.

oh and I did test fit the clear canopy but it looks kinda crap so I put the painted canopy back on.

mine arrived so I popped home during lunch to for a quick look (I only live about 10 mins away which is handy!) Initial impression!? Definitely doesn't have the same quality look, feel and finish as the VF-31. And has many more visible joints that don't lock together as well either. I think fighter mode is definitely the Draken's weakest mode. I had no tampo damage issues removing the protective film but I did peel them away very slowly and carefully. They did leave some residue which I was able to wipe off with a soft cloth. Im going to attempt transforming to gerwalk and battroid and post my thoughts later.

good to know they still available! So depending if this impresses me or not I might have a chance to grab another if they still up by then. Though at this point im still sure I won't be getting doubles of the Draken.

so have you guys got other things waiting in the private warehouse so it ships combined? or do you specify it to go into the private warehouse? I've never used that facility but going by the possible delays it might cause im glad I don't use it. Besides you guys know how impatient I am!

Yes absolutely! Seeing iti s my all time favorite car, the LM/GTR version specifically. I do remember when it first came out and it was mega money! 800,000 gbp if I remember correctly.. but like you said it was way way waaayyy ahead of its time! Maybe even too far ahead. I think those factors were a bit scary for some.

Just got notification from that my parcel is with the courier for delivery today! That's gotta be a record quick time for an ems delivery especially one which was posted on a weekend! Can't wait to see it after work today!

tracking says mine has landed in the country about 3 hours ago! If the gods of Macross are smiling on me from above then I might even see this thing tomorrow! or it'll be Wednesday or Thursday..

do I detect a hint of sarcasm in your comment!? if so then yes you're absolutely right! well I'll definitely be peeling that protecting film away very slowly and carefully! im actually kinda surprised Bandai didn't come across this issue during their product testing? I am looking forward to seeing the intricacies of the Draken design. I wonder if they felt that there wasn't a desperate need for the ratchet joints for the hips? No shoulder locking tabs is a downer but we'll see how that fares whilst handling the toy.

I cancelled my order with Amazon in favor of CDJ as I had a few thousand rewards points to burn before they expired but they haven't sent me anything about my order yet. I guess I gotta just wait.. At least it cost me next to nothing though!

no surprises there.. im sure it'll eventually creep all the way up to 25k to match the VF-31 price. HLJ still have it available at 20,900 last time I checked..

so... last I heard this was due out around mid March which we just passed so I presume its been delayed? not that we haven't seen that before with the Master File releases..
