Being lean is all about diet. When I am at my leanest I eat ONLY raw fruit and vegetables, and lean cuts of meat (none packaged). There is absolute zero room for pizza, candy, or other things like that. Most of the year I walk around at 11% bodyfat but closer to strength competitions fight nights (I work with many athletes) I will cut down to 9%. Lifting helps have a faster metabolism, but seriously quality calories and ONLY the proper amount will get you lean.
