Did you modified the Minmay kit or is built straight out of the box? And the kits(all) are hand painted or airbrush painted?

Thanks, that's my first experience with a 1/6 scale figure. I usually makes some 1/72 and some few 1/35 military figures. I will try to do more. I have bought the other arii boxes but this model of minmay seems to be the coolest (the head with helmet of the hikaru model is really ugly...and need hard customs)

I add some few parts to be accurate to the drawing on the box:

- the clear shawl. The solid one in the box is so ugly and massive

- the ear-ring (nothing in the box)

- change the mike

- add some locks !

I use aztec airbrush,...but not easy... I prefer hand brush. I finish the kit with some "weathering"

tell me if you need something else.

the cockpit of the 19 is hard to make with those screens at the foots of the pilot. Do you have an idea to make this realistic ?

Sorry guys, but I guess the pods in the musasiya kit are not 1/72, but 1/200 or even less according to this picture. ( from Macross II This is animation special 5). Don't forget that's a giant zentran pilot inside, and not a micron/human marduk.

A real 1/72 scale pod should be around 15 or 20 cm long (like a Glaug). I would like so much have this model in 1/72 scale

From Bandai Entertainment Bible 51 (page 26). Not exactly the RT VF 1R

Never see this picture in TIA 3, 5, 7, 11; Macross perfect memory, Macross gold book, or any other macross art book !? But interesting concept, it looks like the strange valks you can see on the cover of entertainment bible 27, or inside entertainment bible 51 (VF 1SR,...)

Maybe from a Sky Angel issue ?
