He adds 2 gray tails/wings on the legs. Why not ? the first drawings of the VF 1 have tails on the legs (Macross perfect memory, page 227)

Those guy need to come on the forum, and not on Ebay if he wants to know about his custom !!!?

I have the 1/72 model.

It's a good kit for his age. I like the legs system, but for myself I think he is not big enough (really 1/72 scale ?) The exosquad/matchbox toy seems more "1/72" with 2 cm higher.

Southern France, but hope to come back in the north soon !!!

the hasegawa battroid is 17/18 cm high (guess it's around 7 inch.) and the Arii 1/6 Minmay is around 27/28 cm (11.7 inch. ?).

1/8 figures are around 20 cm high, that's the scale you need

I know some items mean expensive, but some are really hard to find in France. Sorry if it hurts someone.

In the other hand (I guess) I never saw some items I sell on ebay (1/8 scale sylvia, marduk pods)

(NB: Shipping costs are the same for Asia and the USA)

Cool, now I can get my Hasegawa DD SV-51 and this book/magazine in the same order, hopefully.

It does seem to be fairly small or thin for that price, but beggars can't be choosers etc.

Is it not a best idea to create a list by model and not by manufacturer ? I would prefer have such a list when I want to know who makes a VF 4, a spartan, ...

Good choice Grayson72. Little kits and maybe more easy to make. I don't think we never see such things made by hasegawa !

Just wonder how do you plan to do so:

If the item is 1/144 using the expanding polymer you would obtain a 1/90 scale part (a tad bigger than the 1/100 scale) Another casting would let you obtain a

~1/56 scale part (too big)

If the part is 1/100 you would obtain a 1/62.5 part (not that bad!!! but a little bigger than 1/72)

Maybe you are planning to use the naphta trick (that seems to allow tuning the final size) to make them shrink a little??

This product seems amazing, but I am afraid I think we can not import this one from the US.

I am thoroughly convinced that what ever you see in the mags will eventually be out. Scratch builds are just the proto's to gauge a reaction. 

That said it still doesn't stop the fact that I will be getting these as well.

So where are the GBP, gerwalk version, YF 19 battroid ... ????

I bought some days ago a model kit on ebay. The auction well said that it was a recast of a Club M model kit, and all the pieces are present.

In fact some parts are missing from the original Club M model kit (no parts for the gerwalk version, no gun, no decals.... ) Yes, I can make this kit as fighter version only. But is it normal ?

Do you think a recast should contain all the parts of the original kit ? (I guess it would )

Where are the bases of the "antennas" ? on the fast pack or on the back of the VF 1 ?

That's a nice custom, I've never seen it before, but it's the right scheme. The picture I am searching for was just a profile in color....... (but where ?)
