I wonder how long they will last against the cheesyness that is the Chaos Army. Ahh Chaos. My reason for totally quitting anything by GW. "Here! I have Kharn the Betrayer! I can destroy one half of your army in ONE turn!" exactly 10 seconds later...... "Here! I have stepped on your pissant figure and destroyed HIM in one turn! Wanker." So did I mention I hate 40k?

Speaking of Gundam Sentinel. Does anyone have a clue where I can find the books that that was in? Seed really ain't half bad, however. I was suprised after the debacles of Wing, X, and Streetfighter Gundam.

This show is animated crack. I liked it. Haven't finished it yet though. I have 2 more discs to go. PS: Will never watch this dubbed.

I honestly don't think they will have the collectability of the old 80's toys. It comes down to rarity. Right now, there are alot of Yamato Toys out there. (This includes the Low Vis and TRU Exclusive) You can still find them in some circles or conventions.

Sheer speed is a major factor as well. The Valks make most MS look pittifully slow.

The one thing I like in Macross above Gundam is the fact that there are no Newtypes that can go around killing and destroying everything. In Gundam, the main Mobile Suits and the main character pilots were nigh untouchable by the rest of the "mortals" It got real old real fast. Oh yeah, and Valkyries can't take out huge Cap ships one on one; whereas Amuro took out some Zeon Battleship with a Beam Sabre! Macross defintiely has the edge in vehicular combat. I don't even think the VFs needed a knife as a backup. They weren't built for protracted combat to begin with, like most combat fighters.

Well, it isn't like every issued toy will be defective, but there is bound to be some issues. Some may be even serious, who knows. From experience, we have seen that Yamato has relatively poor first run QA. They eventually fix the problem in most cases with the later release of the same product. My example is the backpack on the VF-1A being so loose. The -1S featured a much tighter backpack that wasn't as prone to tipping over. I don't think this changes the fact that we are getting a really cool toy. (if it is released) Many of us will buy it, it's just a question of restraint until we know if the toy is "solid" or not.

Honestly, I am a bit concerned about it. Considering the QA problems than many initial first runs had, I may wait until a later run to buy the Monster. It took Yamato one or two toolings to solve some issues in their first releases. This is a first run on an untested design. There is bound to be some issues with it.

I think that may have beena one time fan creation. It does look alot like something the guy on Foundry DX would do though... You may want to hit the links on Foundry DX ans check the forums. You might find more info.
