  1. It blew me away and I'm a hardcore fan. My favorite part in the movie was the Bumble Bee wiz scene. ' A bit juvenile, but it was still funny. I'll buy the dvd when it comes out.
  2. Yeah, I just bought one at the local PX for about 9 bucks. It's pretty good for a bootleg. Thank goodness I'm army.
  3. I was considering customizing a galaxy defender 1/55 valkyrie. And I am a first time customizer since I have never custom did a valkyrie before, bootleg or otherwise. are there any parts compatable? Any way to replace said part incase if it was compatible? What type of paint should I use. I plan on going for a decepticon theme or a camoflage military look. If all else fales, are there anyone out there that can custom for me?
  4. I remember some of you guys. Man, it's been awhile, huh?
  5. It's been years(2003-04?) since I seriously posted here. I remember when I first appeared in early 2002 when there was a huge debate on rather HG had rights over Macross or not. Me, being bored and somewhat bias, I joined that bandwagon. WHat really drew me was when I first looked at all the fanmade VFs and other cool mechs. Hell, I even tried to get my own creative juices flowing from my first draft of my story, ALpha Zone. THough it may have been partially inspired by Macross, it was totally original....and I had to do another rewrite. I even made some pretty goofy topics surounding bad movies like the live action Street Fighter... One of my favorite moments were the showing of chunky Misa. My $1 million question is if there is anyone who is from the old forums.
  6. I honestly think it would've went through pretty badly not just with the media, but with the lack of sales. But IMO, I think it would've given a chance for other characters like Hawk, Flint, or even Falcom and SGT. Slaughter.
  7. Well Tecmo Bowl did have real players, but it had original teams which were based from the real ones.
  8. Hey, is this the same troll who was always trying to start crap here all the time? That dude still post here??? O_O
  9. Let's hope Sega comes up with some good original teams then.
  10. Now I got a good reason to dislike EA. I haven't played madden since 98' and now I find out these asses are trying to be the only one in the game. That's not fun. I'm with the one who suggested we boycot EA. This is as bad as the WWE being the only main draw to Wrestling.
  11. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! Any place where I could get them?
  12. If not, they should be. I mean, it's been years since I've watched those shows. I really miss them. They should also make a DVD of the old He-Man show as well.
  13. Lucky son of a *****!! I wish I knew where to find gear like that.
  14. Does any of you guys know where I could find The Fist of the Northstar DVDs for a good price. I've enjoyed watching these episodes on the Action Channel. Some help please?
  15. This is a thread where we could talk having new things happen as opposing to the usual stuff. Like for instance... The Trix Rabbit. How come those damn kids atleast give him the cereal? I know that quote "Trix are for Kids". But why not have more commercials where he eats the stuff. The rabbit haven't had his since 1991, when he won the bike race. IT SHOULD HAPPEN MORE OFTEN!!
  16. Yeah. Either way it was sad that kid died so young.
  17. Since I was about 5 or maybe 6 years old, I heard of an Urban legend of a Curse that have plagie the actors/crew members from Poltergeist. I did at that time heard of the sudden death of the girl who played the role of Carol Ann(the kid in the TV). But I didn't realise that there were other weird things happening through out the shoot of those three movies. Earlier today, I watched an episode of "E! True Hollywood" special that talked about the Curse of Poltergeist. Man, who knew there was so many weird things going on. What really got me was the fact that they used real corpes' in the movie. And that the spirits from those movies had haunted the set. Why on earth would anyone use actual dead people for the movies? They could've used fake props....
  18. The Boston Red Sox have finally won the World Series after 86 looooong years by sweeping the St. Louis Cardinals in game four. Man, I am impressed. Your new champs
  19. Remember the bastardised TV adaptions of the DOn Bluth animated Arcade games? Man, did those suck.... I also forgot to mention Video Kid, but for the fact of the matter is I actually forgot about that show. I will admit that both He-man and She-ra were bad shows. But they were like so many others(Voltron, Thundercats, etc.) were fondly remembered in my childhood. Heel, He-man could be so unintentionally funny at times. I'm shocked no-one mentioned that awful mighty ducks cartoon.
  20. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE COULD I SCORE SOME OF THOSE???!!!!
  21. So. Just because it's from the 80's or early 90's doesn't mean it was gold. Granted some members here ripping on them have only seen them on Cartoon Network etc. I was a kid in the 80's and saw most of the cartoons listed here when they first aired. I hated the Transformers and GI Joe cartoons back then and I still do today. I did like the toys though but I don't care for them anymore. And anyone who liked Inspector Gadget...well ....nevermind. I agree as well. I was a small child of the 80s as well, and yes I didn't like most of those shows mainly because of cheesy theme music and me growing up realising what I watched was dirt. As for He-man's animation being stiff. Yes, it was really stiff, but there was some good and bad qualities to it. They used Actual people to pose as character models for the animation. The problem was, that they "over used" the models over and over again. I could see Prince Adam inside of Skelletor and vice versa.
