I think the word HAMMO with the face next to it may be Hammo Sugiura Born in Aichi prefecture in 1931. He graduated with a major in design from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and went on to become a prolific illustrator and graphic designer. He has received numerous awards including 28th Shogakukan Cultural Prize in Publishing for Children's Books in 1979, the Japan Picture Book Award, Grand Winner's Prize in 1983, and the Graphics Prize at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in 1984. To date he has been involved in designing over 60 titles and has produced approximately 70 original picture books. Seem to be a buddy of Osamu Tsukasa I cant find any work he's done though.

Oh god, anything but the Ogroid. I can see where your coming from, but if you look real close its like an amalgam of the two. The right half of the chest is GBP and the left is more Orgusish. A pesonal theory to the colors of the Phalanx is that these are the ones stationed to the SDF. And the brown we always see are the Daedelus squads, hence the symbols on their crotch( the torch and hammer). It may be far-fetched though. I'd like to hear what Nanashi or Eganloo think.

I was gonna suggest Skulls & Crossbones. But that would just get confusing

Thanks TWDC. I've studied that pic in the past. The only writting I could make out was Mari Ijima. That one I get. But Suke(n) Stand? Doz Merr? Whys the GBS look funny? Just animated weird? Why is it missing the Forearm Armor. I guess they were using every available mech. Weather it was complete or not. Anything that could throw a missle. Still, a black and red VF? Thats just cool.

Ok, in Episode 27 "Love Drifts Away", there is a shot with 3 Blue Phalanx Destroids, a VF-1A CF style and a black and red VF-1A with GBP armor. Has anyone figure out what is written on their skins? Whats with the color scheme? Has anybody done these custom colors with a model? I used the search function and came up with ziltch. I apologize if this has been address in the past.

The only place i saw an ad for Donnie Darko was at some artsy theater that shows mostly foreign film. Never saw an ad on TV. Loved the movie. As usual I enjoy a movie when I Know nothing about it. Most ads today show you the whole movie. Most frightening moment: Sparkle Motion! Best song: Mad mad world. The dvd goes into some crazy amount of detail into the backstory and what happen in the ending timeline. Patrick Swayses character still gets his in the end!

Were you all complaining this much before it came out? We all knew the price. Whats changed? Did you really expect more in the toy? What could they have added to justify the price you were already aware of? And as for Millia not being poseable, yeah that sucks, but for a while there I think most people thought there would be no pilot included at all. It's just as good as I expected. More that I expected actually. It gets my thumbs up.

I think it worth it considering there is no other Q-rau toys out there. That alone makes it rare. You can't swing a Gunpod without hittin' a VF. Those are all over the place, so naturally the price is lower. My two cents.

Those old models were probably the first exposure I had to Macross. I seem to remember seeing those(and lots of other stuff) in a shop called Hobby Time here in CT. Shortly after the Comico comic of Robotech came out. Then the series. Those were the days. Ah..
