Kurt, I would like to congratulate you along with everyone else. Seeing all your work is inspiring. You are a true artist and everything you have completed is amazing. I just can not get enough of your customs. I'm in the same boat as others though, a total lack of cash. Damn college and daughters. If I didn't love those two so much I'd swear they were a curse from god (not really) . I hope you continue to do your customs. I am curious though, ever consider customizing a 1/72? Perhaps a YF-21 customized. Personnaly I would like to see one painted up like Sunstorm from the Transformers line.

The night vision thing is pretty close. Most older night vision goggles are pixilated when you look through them (but not as bad 8-bit mario). So the digital camo is alot harder to see with older night vision goggles. The newer night vision goggles that the military uses are highter quality and don't have the problem. I have to agree that the digital camo concept seems to be more appropriate for uniforms than aircraft, but it still looks damn cool.

Guess I will just wait and buy the new YF-19(FP) versions, whenever they come out. Hopefully we will get some news on them soon. They gotta be running out of 1/48 VF-1's soon, so maybe they will get back to work on the F-19. I have seen pictures of the Bandai F-19 and I am not impressed, so I will just hold onto my money.

My question is this. Do I spend the extra money and buy a YF-19 or VF-19A, or patiently wait for the FP version to come out? If the FP version is improved I think it may be worth the wait. However long it maybe.

As much as I enjoyed watching the show, and reading those great subtitles, I hope they are redubbed into english and sold in the states. Having to read subtitles throughout the whole movie takes away from the great art work done.

After reading several posts on various topics, I finally decided to register and throw in my two cents about this. I finally saw Macross 0, and I was amazed at the CGI animation. I thought the battle scenes were great and I hope they continue to make them that way. When the battle group was attacked at sea, I had to watch that scene a few times. WOW!! Even my daughter had to sit on my lap to watch it. So if she likes it, then it must be good.
