So Quinn what do you think of the MAzdaspeed MX-5? I kinda like it. I went to the LA Auto show and I am so pissed!!! I saw a JDM full hard top coupe, not the hard shell for the convertables. it is a full time hard top. Now why didnt Mazda take that body and chassis for their MX5 turbo? that would kick so much ass!!!!

JSARClight I dont think Yellowlight man meant any harm or thought you were "dissing" the Rotary. Your facts are based on truth. My father has a FD RX7 (3rd Gen twin turbo R1) the twin turbo RX-7 3rd gens are renown for breaking down due to the turbo and other things such as the apex seals. Kids who buy these things dont knwo how to properly treat these cars and they break. Now your friend had an RX7, should have looked a little more into that one. What year was it? Was it a turbo? Rotary cars can be great if properly handeled. And true the other problem is that they are expensive to maintan since not too many people knwo how to work on rotary cars. Now the new Renesis RX8 motor is deemed "bulletproof" by my dad and as he is such an avid fan of the rotary I believe that the RX8 solves the issues of the common problems found in rotaries. How ever our littel Alternator friend here wil not have such problems. Knock on wood. haha

Couldnt Have said it any better myself Yellowlightman. haha go NA Rotary but of course you know im all turbo with my dad's FD. I would have prefered a FD Alternator but this isnt shabby. I like it a lot!!!! So much more than Sideswipe and dare I say even Smokescreen? Its a toss up for me between the two.

As you mentioned. Plus a detailed engine bayand interior stuff. My steering wheel has the momo badge on it. I have a gauge decal so the gauges look more real. And I added a rear view mirror. Small time stuff.

Well if you want to stop at yamato go right ahead. I would like to modify the ful clear set so it shows something. Modification thats what I have in mind.

Yeah I know it need something but not sure what. I couldnt find the right texture. I'll find one eventually. Im thinking of jsut painting the upper grill on the hood flat black.

I tried to use the stock stars but I messed up so I took the blue "I" from my diecast (where I get all my other parts) and did this.

Here is the real Rally WRX at the LA Auto Show (im sure its jsut a mock up for show though)

Teh wheels came from a 1:24 scale Diecast WRX GDB (the round head light version) thats where I got teh Momo Steering wheel, Gauges and wheels.

Perhaps Rohby could make two sets. One full Armor set and then an expansion pack for those who did dish out for the original Yamato set.

Who I like it!!! Only thing the blue used for the stock of the gunpod seems a little too deep. But Matching color of a decal is hard enough not Like I could do any better. haha well done!!!

Here are the new wheels. The front stick out a little too much even after I trimmed as much as possible to the point where they wont turn left or right haha.
