Happy that I was able to bring out confusion and discussion over the fate of our beloved Yamato(s). The pics from Hyper Hobby and Dengeki Hobby are different. At first I thought it was the same until someone pointed out the hook on the back pack and other line art which matches Yamato V2s. This still doesn't mean that they have the Yamato molds and will continue them. As of right now, all we can do is speculate. We can't be too satisfied until there's 100% certainty. With all the evidence that people have brought about in the first picture, it looks very promising but still not 100%. I'll be in the combini(s) and book stores in 2-3 weeks checking out all the hobby mags and post photos ASAP. I'm going to dinner with someone who works for Bandai/Namco later on and maybe she knows someone who works for Arcadia.

In my own defense, here's the finger, kyekye. I speak Japanese and can read some of it. I'm not a fluent speaker nor do I plan to be one, but I know enough to carry conversation.

I tried reading what I could from the Japanese and in parenthesis, it reads "The Arcadia version only will be introduced this time" Even if Arcadia continues the Yamato molds, the 30th Anniversary plane they are starting with is ugly as crap.

From what I heard, the reason why the anime has a VF1A head is because the studio that took the job for that episode made a mistake. Rewatch some of the episodes and you'll see a big difference in character design and animation. I hope the decide to do an HD rework of the original!

I was recently PMing with another member about finding Yamato(s) in Hong Kong. The member then stated that collectors in Hong Kong would rather look for the toys that were sold in Japan, saying that the toys that are shipped to Japan are of higher quality (especially with Bandai). I was wondering if any of you know this to be true? And does that mean that the Yamato(s) that we order from Angolz and HKCollections are low quality? Or is that member wrong about the whole thing?

Are the 1/48 Stealth(s) rare or sought after?

I went to Yellow Submarine in Akihabara about 2 weeks ago and saw no Yamato figures. I'm sure they all got swept up in the panic.

I actually found a 1/3000 SDF for $315 online...the order is processing and hope it goes through. It didn't go through.

Your best bet would be in Akihabara. Or go to Nakano and find Mandarake. Mandarake has a bunch of different brances around Japan...the ones closest are Nakano, Akihabara, and Shibuya. VFs used to be sold in Yodobashi Cameras and Bic Cameras, but they're all sold out now. Good luck.

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm not saying I'm right, the only thing I can do is compare things I've heard and seen in real life situations and compare them to what I've seen in Macross. In my eyes, Minmei is self-centered. She only wants to be around Hikaru when it's convenient for her. She got all butt-hurt when she saw and heard Hikaru and Misa's conversation in town and ran off crying because he added photos of Misa in the photo album. Now...would a girl who had no feelings towards a guy get that sad about a few pictures? So, I think Minmei loved Hikaru (which is why I retracted my accusations of her leading him on), but again she's a bit selfish because she wanted Hikaru to leave the military and settle down. She didn't think he could settle down with her and still be in the military? And when the bombs started flying from Kamjin's ship, she tried to keep him from protecting the city only so that she didn't have to be alone. I'm not saying that Hikaru is off the hook either. Some of the things that he did to Misa (intentionally and unintentionally) were pretty f*cked up. So, I'm not playing a blame game on anyone. I'm just giving MY interpretation of Minmei: Sweet, caring, sensitive, naive, selfish, charming, charismatic, and self-centered. She's truly a Libra. lol Now, I know Gubaba is gonna have something to say as he always has to have the last word.

It's kinda funny how the VF-11C was just cannon fodder in M7, but the figure is highly sought after.

Depends on what you consider "love" So, that makes her a two-timer. You're saying that she should only be in love with people who help her career? I'm not trying to bash Minmei...she's my 2nd favorite female character after Miria.
