  1. It definitely isn't his weakest, i think that'd be Jackie Brown, but it plays more like a whodunnit type film rather than a western.

Saw it in 70mm, which was absolutely gorgeous, but yeah, the dialogue does drag on and on for three hours until the climactic finale.

  2. Oh its definitely tracked, which is why I know it's at the isc center. It's just that it hasn't moved since the 20th.

I'm usually pretty patient if I use slow shipping, but I elected for ems shipping this time, so it's like urrghh...

  3. So ah, what's the longest anyone in the US has waited for an international item to clear the USPS ISC center? Currently, I've been waiting on one of my Hi-Metal R's to clear ISC New York since the 20th of Nov. At what point do I start wondering if it got lost?

  4. I guess you're right, that isn't really QC at that point. Quality Control is just the final verification of manufacture at the plant. I got that wrong.

Regardless, I'd like to add that Arcadia has reissued three VF-1's and the VF-19 plus they've released the YF-19 based heavily around the VF series. Save for the continued problem with the ankles on the 19 series and the dumb move to not have a locking swing bar on the YF-19, none of their other releases (especially those that are specifically re-releases) have had any sort of massive failure or quality issue. There's zero reason to assume because of problems with the 0's that the VF-4 will be some disintegrating POS given the original didn't have any issues and it's just a lot of bucket-on-head panic.

I can't help but think that the bizarre half plastic/half metal hybrid design of the VF0 hips was a reaction to the call for tighter joints.

  5. Could someone who has one, measure the tailfins? I'd like to know exactly how big they are, for planning decals etc to use. 1/72 F-14 vs 1/48 F-18 markings, etc. Would like to know height, front-to back at both top and bottom, and front-to-leading-edge-of rudder at top and bottom.

I used 1/72 decals on mine.
