  1. The infinite color shade discussions usually irk the hell out of me and I actually like the grey shade they used for the new 0A. Still those blue fins are just...weird.

Still keeping my preorder though, so whatever.

  2. I would be surprised if the actual original frame had survived. Considering the amount of stress a typical fighter goes through in day to day operations, flying hours accumulate very quickly. After a year of near constant combat in both space and an atmosphere I would have hated to be the Phase/Isochronal inspection team to have to look at that one. I know the frames are made of a super strong alloy (space metal or some form of titanium) but G forces can tweak the hell out of a frame after so long. I wouldn't be surprised if it had gone in afterwards for a major depot level overhaul once the part production lines started up again on the Apollo Base. It probably would have come out essentially as a new VF.

Essentially new yes, but in aviation you can destroy everything except the id plate, replace everything else, and it's still "the same aircraft" :)

  3. I only opened mine the other day, but I had to put it down after 40 frustrating minutes of trying to attach the super packs.

I had the same problem with the Arcadia yf-19. I think I'm just allergic to the design.

  4. Is anyone out there at SDCC? Would you be willing to help a brother out? I'm looking to pick up the Acid Rain green jeep below. I'd happily compensate you for the price + your time, service, and shipping.

    Anyone? Anyone? :)

    Thanks!

  5. this seemed like a no brainer to me but the only way to have the gun sitting as correctly as possible when in fighter mode whilst fully utilizing the gimmicky bending gun feature is to make sure the arms are not clipped to the shield. That will allow the arms to drop down a bit and the gun then tucks up under the body better. I figure this wont effect the look of the thing in fighter mode much at all as you can't really tell that the arms are not in their correct position but I think its a worthwhile compromise. And the gun sits where its meant to.

I don't have mine in hand yet, but does unclipping the arms make the rest of it a floppy mess?
