Could be because the Jefire has a glossy red paint on the nosecone, leading one to remember it was more than plastic?

Anybody have experience with this store? They say they are a 5 star rating but yahoo says the store is yet to be rated.

Wow, it's been months since my last Valk purchase (1/48 VF1J) and the latest releases don't seem to interest me: Q-Rau 1/48 VF1J Max / Millia So I started getting Transformers: MP, Alternators, even Energon... while I wait for some Macross news... Now I get an itch to buy another Macross toy, (I guess to even out the growing Transformer army), but I look at the prices and they seem too much. This has not happened before. Warning to all, don't stop or you'll find it harder to get back in. My solution, planned trip to HK / Japan

I have both the Takara and Hasbro Optimus Primes. The Hasbro's I got 2/6/04 at Walmart had the black guns ($63.62). Only difference with the guns is that everywhere that was grey is now black, which means the aqua blue (or whatever color it is) stays and is unchanged. Would have been better if it was all black or the blue was darker (or replaced with a darker color). My friend thinks the black is still better than the grey though. I got black because I already had a grey and because it's closer to the cartoon. The Toys R Us price is insane and looks like it won't be available until March too. They must have thought they'd be the only ones getting it like the other G1 reissues.

$90 is the discounted price. My friend's relative is a good customer.

$90 (VF1J no fixpacks), friend bought it in HK. Only paid him $60 though, cause I drove him to the airport. Can't wait to go to HK myself next year.
