  1. I like the paint job much better on Prime now, but whats up with the yellow on his head and chest ? Will that also be part of the differances between the American and Japanese release? Still looks sweet though B) .
  2. Looks awsome dude B) ! I don't even see the slot for the tailfin pylons in the pic of it in fighter mode. BTW does the backpack have a joint to allow it to fold up? None the less great work.
  3. Sorry to hear about that. Believe me I know what its like to try and get a job you like, I've been looking for close to 3 years to get a job in digital animation and just recently had to take a fulltime job at a shoe store to pay the bills. I'm sorry I can't be of much help but best of luck to you and I hope you find another job you like soon.
  4. If the 1/48 scale is supose to be for "collectors" then I can see no better canadate for that line, after all it would be the first VF-4 "TOY" ever made. So my vote is for 1/48.
  5. Lightning 06 Posted on Sep 7 2003, 07:03 PM Yes that would be cool, and a fold engin would be iceing on the cake .
  6. (Sam @ Sep 7 2003, 01:45 AM) Darn and I thought I was being subtle . I can think of no better way to start 2004 then by releasing the YF-19 with F/P, it would just be too cool especially if it looked like that B) !
  7. YES, give Max the VF-1 he deserves for once!!!!!
  8. Looking good so far B) . I like the way you solved the problem with the tail fins, it's very practical but doesen't it bother the placement of the wings or shoulder joints? If not I'm going to "borrow" that idea. Good luck with the rest of the kit and don't forget to post lots of pics.
  9. QUOTE (Angel's Fury @ Sep 6 2003, 11:30 PM) I couldn't have said it any better myself. Next to the Optimus Prime 20th Aneversery toy this is really the only one (toy that is) I'm looking forward to getting.
  10. Has there been any progress to report about this kit yet?
  11. Why do all the pretty ones have to cost so much?....... <_< .
  12. Now that's the stuff dreams are made of B) . I really hope Yamato does decide to make a Max VF-1S, he deserves so much more than just a VF-1A.
  13. How much is it for that kit? If it's not too expensive I'd be interested as well.
  14. I likes the way yous be thinking
  15. I like people who think waaaaay too much about this sort of stuff it makes for an interesting read and some fun speculation. Oh and just to add to the fire, I think Yamoto will release a VF-0D in 1/48 scale for the 30th anniversary of Macross. Crazy thought I know but it would sort of be fitting in a way.......... . Although I'm not too sure how.
  16. 1/72 - 1 1/60 - 1 1/48 - 1
  17. Looks good, now if only they'ed make a Max type VF-1S
  18. Man every time I see a pic of the VF-0D and the SV-51(Nora's colour pattern) the more and more I look forward to seeing the toy versions from Yamato.
  19. Looks good B) What scale is that?
  20. As an aspiring animator I can tell you for one person to do all that it's no easy feat. So needless to say I felt the need to see it and well I really, really liked it.......... a lot. It's not an action story or anything like that. It's basicaly about two friends who become seperated and how they try to stay together dispite the distance that keeps them apart (although the mech battles are cool). Oh, and don't look for a happy ending either, this is probably why I liked it so much (I hate all that "and they lived happily ever" after crap, it makes me sick). The final scene is really well done, in my opinion. Definatly worth a watch.
  21. I guess I have to start this thread all over again, oh well. So has anyone tried to make their VF-2SS Bandai kit capable of transforming without removing the legs? Also as stated before in the old thread please share any thoughts or ideas about this. I know there was a few other people who were going to atempt this, as well as myself. Well let the conjuring begin
  22. Last I heard it was going to be released in October, but don't quote me on that.
