  1. Hey, GRAHAM, here are the pics of the JOYRIDE Colonial Vipers from the original series....sorry it took me so long to post 'em and I apologize for their sizes .
  2. I did kinda jumped the gun there a little bit. I'm just so psyched at getting this version of the GBP that I'm thinking way too far ahead . I hope YAMATO's not gonna disappoint with this one.
  3. Ok, now that we have some kind of idea when this particular armor's coming out, let me ask the next obvious question: Does anyone know if either TAKATOYS or ANASAZI37's making decals for the 1/48 GBP's ?
  4. Actually, VADER wasn't even aware of the fact his children (or at least, one of them!) were alive, until it was revealed by the Emperor on episode 5. Could be why he's not on the look out for anyone with the same last name .
  5. The 1/48's are getting harder and harder to find nowadays. The alpha's, however, have not even sold out of the their 1st issues yet. Just a thought.
  6. It's not that bad when you think about it. You are getting armour that encompasses the WHOLE valk, was little goodeis like removable missiles and killer detail. You tell 'em, K!! And who are we kidding, guys?! Even if cost $100 for just the armor alone, each and everyone of us are getting at least one of these bad boys
  7. I would love to get my hands on a 1/48 CF, but it looks like YAMATO isn't even considering on making these. So, I guess it's just the armor for me .
  8. I believe GRAHAM's interested to see them pics !
  9. You noticed, too, huh?! Yeah, that's one of my main gripes about that particular X-Wing. I'll post them pics this weekend, I promise. About the Viper's landing gear's, You're right. They are removable, but they look so funny on the Viper. Maybe because of their size, which is rather skinny compared to the landing gears on the AC X-Wing. I prefer to leave them off and just put the Viper on it's stand. The Cylon Raiders are still going for $20 (I think!) at Frank & Sons, here in So.Cal. So, if you can get it for less than that, I'd say that's a good deal .
  10. Hey, big G, I bought the Colonial Viper about a couple of weeks ago. I wanna post some pics, but I'm not gonna be able to do so until this coming weekend, when I pick up my brother's digi-cam. Are you planning on buying soon? The vehicles, I believe, are about the same scale as the STARWARS Action Fleet X-Wing Fighter by MicroMachines. The detail on this is good, considering the price I got it for (which is about $20!). But you know what, I still think the Action Fleet X-wing looks better, and that's not just because I like SW better than I do BSG .
  11. He-he, welcome to Valkaholics Anonymous ! MPCHI, if yer looking for a 1/48 VF-1J, I know who's selling one !!
  12. Hey Guys, I know the 1/48's are pretty sturdy, but do we have any idea how heavy this armor's going to be? I mean, the valk looks like a million bucks with the armor on and all, but I hope it doesn't mean that I'm gonna need to buy a separate stand (like the one on the pic!) just so I can put my 1J on display .
  13. Thanks for posting the pic, GRAND CANNON! That 1/48 GBP Armor looks absolutely beautiful !
  14. Totally agree with you guys, the finale was great! Can't wait for the next season to come around! ! BTW, anyone else think Grace Park is hot?
  15. I didn't cast my vote, only for the sole reason that I'm waiting to see how PROWL's gonna look like in his BT/ALT version. But if I had to choose with what's out now, I think I might go with GRIMLOCK. This Bot's just a total bad-ass, in either mode.
  16. Nope. The 1/48's are capable of perfect transformation and they look sweet in any mode. Sure, their chest pieces are a little wider than some expected, and those arms look a little too skinny, but man, I'll take a 1/48 anyday over a Toynami MPC. Don't get me wrong, the MPC's are okay, considering their current market prices, but they're not even in the same league as the 1/48's when it comes to their aesthetic value and playability .
  17. Rick Randy, just post an ad at the Wanted section of the boards. It's easy and you might get lucky enough to get a reply from someone who might have an extra set of TV FP's they're willing sell. I did that last week and sure enough I'm getting me a set to outfit one of my 1/48 HIKARU 1J's !
  18. Hey, CHRIS, it is worth it! Believe me 'coz I've got 4 of those (and that's nothing compared to the inventory of some MWers !). The 1/48's are a step above the MPC's. Oh, and about the VALK-EXCHANGE.com price, it is a good one. You can never really go wrong with KEVIN, he is a great guy and a fellow collector AND member here at MW.con. Hopefully, you would wanna go with the 1/48's, 'coz right now they're getting really hard to find (for a good price!) and get a hold off .
  19. I would like to make a donation. Just need to know who I can give it to .
  20. I'm with you on this one, H! How hard can it be for YAMATO to do a repaint of a 1A ?!! Well, I'm still hoping they'd come out with a 1/48 CF.
  21. Nice! Finally we have some news 'bout the 1/48 GBP. Thanks for the pics, GRAHAM! Like the rest o' you guys, I can't wait for this one to come out !
  22. LASERSTORM, I think you should go for the MAX 1A, too. I've gotten one from Digital toys.com awhile back and I happen to think the blue trimmings are accurate when compared to the any of the screen shots on DYRL?.
  23. 1/48's are the way to go ,but for the price that the 1/60's are going for right now, I'd say they're alright. Maybe I'm just one of those people who are easy to please, but the detachable legs don't bother me none. OR maybe I just not a big fan of those swing bars !
  24. Heck, yeah!! I'm interested. Sign me up !!
