REL too? Do they have a plasma donor center nearby, I may be going home without a car, shirt, shoes or half my blood if I can find someone to buy it. Seriously, that is grounds for an assault charge against my wallet. Why don't you guys kidnap Moscato and set him up down there as well so I can have an aneurysm struggling with how I am going to explain a multi-thousand dollar hour in the dealers room during early bird time.
I guess I better start saving now.
~Edit~ Sorry for literring in the thread with jibber-jabber not really related to the topic, my excitement got the better of me, on with the show!
-
Oh god..., if you and Neisen both set up in the dealers room this year I may end up selling my car and walking 240 miles home with about 400 pounds of resin strapped to my back.

Imagine an emoticon with eyes expanding and then exploding here.
I remember way back when seeing ads for a 1/24 scale valk for sale in japan and thinking how awesome that would be. Now looks like we will get to see one.
Any chance you'll have this done and be attending Wonderfest in Kentucky this year?
-
I've been fooling around making laser canons from sprues since you posted that little trick. Pretty awesome. ~Edit~ Yeah, I missed the great link in the initial post. Mine's in primer atm too but I needed some color inspiration. Looking at the Kamjin vaiant covered in moss/crud I wish I had bought a second, I may have to really scuzzy mine up, because, well, It's Kamjin

Hopefully it's not cancelled and this isn't a sore spot, but I'm curious about the status of the book?
My comic shop never got issue number 3, I see it's still for sale on TFAW, where I guess I'll have to pick it up.

Contemplating 2. If this is going to take place roughly every 2 months, does that mean we are looking at roughly 10 months from start to finish?
-
Even with inflation I'm in for one. I'll consider 2, this is going to be basically the pinnacle of Mospeada garage kits unless you do something more epic, it's not chicken scratch, but quality seldom is cheap. Is there a certain number of commitments that are necessary to make this happen?
~Edit~ Cap,n if you decide this is a go, I assume you'll give us some instructions on how to contact you to make arrangements for a deposit/contract.

Barring Catastrophy I'm in.

Is there an emoticon someplace for a wallet crying, having a nervous breakdown, and then maybe slashing it's wristflaps?
-
Package received, thanks for another smooth transaction! The casting job on these looks fantastic as always.

Sorry Took me an extra couple days to get my order in, had an issue with my Paypal account, hopefully i'm not too late.

Jeez, I haven't looked in the toy forum for a while and I missed one of the coolest threads ever on Macrossworld. That is just a stunning piece of work. Congratulations on having / creating what is probably the coolect representation of the SDF-1 on earth. Thanks for sharing all the great pictures so we can live vicariously though you!
-
I want one. It might be two weeks before I can order, had to replace the washing machine, new rotors and brake pads in the truck and a surgical bill have tapped out my fun money this week Hopefully they''ll still be available.
-
It can be yor first foray into the crossover world of Macross Marital Aides, you'd make a mint in Japan I tell ya!!
Seriously though, rough estimate of the length in 1/5000 would it be like a meter long? What if you just picked an odd scale that would look good on a shelf?
-
I gave the show a chance, and I thought it started out pretty well. I'll be tuning in to see how things develop. It had some super hero cliches, and was just a little cheesy, but that's not a big deal if it's well written and acted, They've got some fun to watch actors involved so I'm hopeful.
-
I gave the instructions a bump.
Out of curiousity. Lets say that there is a pretty long line of Kits on a guy's workbench ahead of this one. Would it be better to bake the parts and let them sit in the box, or wait until you are ready to start building before breaking out the cookie sheet?
-
Kits are being received, bumping instructions so folks that didn't get a copy can print em out
-
I just cruised by the Post Orifice and picked up mine.
Now, is there an instruction thread? I vaguely recall something about having a few parts that require baking again, is that right?
-
Likewise, I'll keep an eye peeled to this thread because I highly doubt anyone else will come to market with a 1/72 Monster, but take care of your priorities first, after all this is supposed to be a hobby and fun.
I hope things settle down and you get some fun time in the ear future!

I also wouldn't put it past Bandai from playing a little hardball with competitors and putting this stuff out, only because Wave started making Macross kits. It's hard to know what their motivations are, but I find it a little suspicious and strangely coincidental that this is happenign right around the time Wave it just starting to come to market with some Macross kits that haven't been sold since the Arai / Imai days.
-
Well, I don't think those 4 kits are the only reissues that Bandai's bringing.
Hofefully that there will announce more additional reissues kits.
But remember that Bandai only owns molds from Imai, and no Arii.
Looking at the detroids they've chosen, they are cognizant of the recent Wave releases and have chosen to supplement the recent releases, so they don't oversaturate and end up wiht a bunch of peg warmers. I'd bet they'd also rush to beat competitors to the punch with re-releases of old stuff that someone else was looking at putting out.
So if some someone else was thinking about releaseing a Regult, or a Monster, they just may have lost part of their market.

BILLLIONSSSS!!!!
Just kidding. Honestly, I have no idea, but likely over $100. It's quite a large ship and thusly, will require lots of resin.
I don't understand why I love and hate you so much at the same time. The skills are unquestionable, the stuff you make is always, without fail, awesome. But my wallet keeps saying "That guy is the devil, you need to ignore him and all of the foul temptations that he dangles in front of you.
I think that stupid wallet is sitting next to my bed brainwashing me in my sleep. You know what, screw him. Cap'n wins, I want mooooooooooooore!!!!
Lookin good. I'm really happy that you've come out as a zentran/meltran design fan and are excited about doing their ships. I love watching them come together and can't wait to get my copy(ies)!

I prefer the factory fresh version. I can alway make damage. It's harder to fix it.
I agree with this ^ In fact, sometimes damage makes itself even when I'm not going for it

Nice work Marc! I think I'm going right for Bronze/Brown for mine, need to finish the last few details on another kit before I get serious about painting this though.
Looks like this is available for pre-order on Starshipmodeler. I'd like to have a second one, it's a great kit.
