  1. If I recall correctly, I think that 1/35 RX-78 was only available for retailers who wanted to use it as a display piece.

Really? I could have sworn that Bandai made a statement that it would be for sale to the public for about $1000 and it would come with like a special collector's base and serial number. Maybe I missed the only retailer model memo.....

Would anyone know how to put in an order to buy one, maybe from a retailer that has it or something?

  2. Hey guys,

I have been wondering something lately. Remember that 1/35 Gundam FIX that was supposed to come out? Is that project still in the works by Bandai, or has it been

cancelled? I've been wanting to buy the figure when it came out, but I can't seem to find anymore updates about.

Is it another case of vaporware? I hope not

  3. Yeah, I thought the trailer was sweet too. Raiden's body seems more mechanical this time around, and things seem to be much darker.

Game looks promising, but I am worried that it will lose value if the sword is the only thing a player gets to use throughout the whole game.

(btw, what is that weird blue LED holster thing that moves around his body)

  4. I think they're going for the MSG4 look, with the exposed radar internals and the missing armor on the head. although technically it shouldn't have the rail gun (maybe it will be detachable?)

Maybe its just me, but I can't see the relevance of the toy's weathered look to either mgs4 or the previous games.

In all the games, Rex seems to have a camo going, not weathering. Its even apparent in the picture.

I don't know, maybe i am just color blind.

  5. Hi mates!

Geez I just stumble on an amazing announcement:

ThreeA toys is gonna release a huge, fully articulated MG Rex for the end of the year.

Sorry I cannot post pictures but you will find them easily.

It's awesome and Ray is next.

I like the pics, but i couldn't find any mention of them doing a MG Ray next?

    Is there any official confirmation?

    Thanks

  6. Got back from this a while ago... Pure frickin awesome!

Yeah, I really liked it too. Its one of those movies that you can just sit back and enjoy. No need to really think (if u know what i mean)

I love the way action and comedy are both integrated to make the movie a fun experience.

    Nice ending too B))

  7. I expected to watch some swushbuckling action ala Pirates of The Carribean. I expected a fun ride by Jerry Bruckheimer. I didn't mind if the movie doesn't follow the game storyline.

I was disappointed. My main beef with it was that the story progression and pacing was off. Characters were 2 dimensional. Jokes weren't even that witty. And no trap dodging? (except one which was kinda lame cuz the trap involved the whole place crumbling down)

The stunts and parkour was fun though. Kinda reminds me of Assasin's Creed more than PoP.

Same here. When I was watching the movie, the stunts that were performed made me think that I was watching Assassin's Creed rather than Prince of Persia. The roof to roof jumping, wall scaling, etc. as well as even the swordplay seemed to draw more from Assassins's Creed than PoP.

I really didn't enjoy the movie all to well. Kind of a let down. I was hoping for a lot more than what I got.

  8. I really liked Battlefield Bad Company 2. I dare say it was better than Modern Warfare 2... it wasn't as overly dramatic or as dark, and the squad in Bad Company is both more memorable and more likable. But in some cases, it's just more of the same thing... and War for Cybertron is looking awfully good...

Well, I broke down and ended up buying Battlefield. I didn't want to waste a month of summer waiting for a game that may or may not be good.

Finished the story, and it was pretty satisfying, though it kind left me feeling like I had accomplished nothing from start to finish. Just

started the multiplayer, and boy o boy, this beats Modern Warfare 2 by a longshot. I started with the recon kit, and i am loving it. Its so fun

to snipe, and each kill is a lot more satisfying than in MW2. m24 ftw!

  9. "We have decided to produce a 1/72 character from the Unicorn series. Stay tuned."

This was just posted on G System Shop's site by the staff.

I am pretty excited! Just looking at the already - made 1/72 Sinanju gives me hope that this will

    be another awesome kit.

Any thoughts on what the mobile suit might be? I am thinking stark jegan because other mobile suits like

the Re-ZEL, or unicorn itself, would be difficult to translate into resin.

  10. So Killzone 3 is confirmed, and from the tidbits revealed so far, it makes the ending of Killzone 2 sound less depressing. Though, still sucks to be Sev and Rico where they are now after what they did.

Anyone else hear the rumors that Killzone 3 is going to be in 3-D?

Just some rumors I heard flying around the Web.....

  11. that Yammie Liger looks kinda big...

Yeah, but I think that is just our eyes playing tricks on us because the liger looks big in comparison to the people behind it.

The Paradox effect I think is what they call it.

  12. So, I am kind of torn right now. I have recently gotten real bored of modern warfare 2, and most of all my other

games are finished so I am planning on heading out to buy a new game.

I really want to get Battlefield Bad Company 2, but the new Transformers War for Cybertron looks really promising as well.

I only want to get one, so what do you guys think? Buy BBC2 right now, or wait it out for Transformers.

    *sigh* decisions, decisions......

  13. God no, I hate the Star Ocean battle system. I've never finished a game of that series because of it.

Aww, come on! I thought the star ocean combat system was pretty cool, and innovative. It incorporated aspects of both RPGs and Action RPGs into the game, and I really enjoyed that.

The combat system also kept the action going, with no pauses in between attacks.

idk, to each his own i guess

  14. I got this game a month ago, and played a couple of chapters, then quit. havent really gotten in the mood to play it anymore. The only characters i like are lightning, and vanille. Snow is a douche and his rebel group in one of the beginning cut scene are so stupid firing those guns that aperently dont run outta ammo. Then hopes mother "moms are tough" scene was really anti dramatic and lame. The story is retarted, i mean the falcie are suppose to be feared and unknown, but it seems the characters know everything about them, such as when they have to learn their focus, then sazh lame excuse was "well thats what the legend says" I hate the fact that there are no more random battles, but I like the battle system. The one thing i hate about the battle system is that you only control one person. I hate the leveling up system, another sphere grid type thing, hated it in X now here it is again in XIII. I hate the linearity of the main quest, following a long tube with no places to visit (ie towns). The shops are a let down you visit a computer hub to buy useless crap, this alone takes away the felling of going on a grand quest.. (they did this in mgs4 too were you went into the menu screen to buy weapons). anyways i should have learned my lesson after X, that FF is ruined now.I mean this is what final fantasy has become? Dumbed down so square-enix can make a easy buck? whatever that my 2 cents.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I got this game when it came out and played through the first couple chapters. I soon saw myself slowly spending more and more time switching to modern warfare 2 though. For some reason, after the nth time of pressing the x button to autoselect moves to attack with in battle, I really started to get bored.

This FF was kind of a let-down for me. I really wish square enix would convert FF into a Star Ocean type combat system.

  15. So err...what exactly is this meeting about? XD

So, it seems as though he and his group members are trying to promote a cross religion between Christianity and "Nerv"ism (lol). He is

proclaiming that apparently the Second Impact (I guess from evangelion?) will occur do to the second coming of Jesus Christ. Essentially,

he is promoting the fact that our world will soon be heading toward the direction the Earth in Evangelion took, and that rather than experiments on

an angel, the second impact will be caused by the second coming of Christ. That about sums it up. (the date for second impact is December 25, 2013 btw)

Looks like if we survive 2012, 2013 will be heading our way

    -Archer

(btw, in no way, shape, or form am I trying to promote Christianity or "Nerv"ism)
