That picture F360 posted looks really good, regardless of Candy finish. I am definitely in for one! Get to re-live all that Gundam Wing elementary school-era angst. 

The mold looks awesome, but I really hope they don't go the route of that super shiny candy-finish looking paint-scheme, especially since GFFMC are usually finished in matte. 

 

I find it very strange that Bandai opted to make both a Hi-resolution and GFFMC Wing Zero EW figures, considering that both lines (arguably) cater to the same market-base. 

I'll definitely be in for a GFFMC version though, as I prefer the more canonical design presented here to the Hi-resolution variant.

I think the thing with P4's cast wasn't so much that they were happy-go-lucky, but that they were the kind of people I'd hang out with in real life.  Although, I guess I'd say the same about Ryuji.  Maybe I just like Yasogami High better?

I think I agree with you. I think the issue for me is that 

Ultimately, I feel that Persona 5 will end up between 4 and 3 for me. Obviously these are all games that I really enjoyed, so it's high praise regardless. We'll see if my thoughts change as I progress further through the story.

I'm really not surprised.  Persona 4 was gorgeous, too, and they've had years to put the finishing touches on 5.  Also, I'm a huge fan of Shigenori Soejima's stuff.  I have the P3 and P4 Official Design Works books.  I see that Prima's coming out with a P5 artbook, but I might hold out and see if there'll be another Official Design Works.

Anyway... how you guys coming along?  I'm up to early/mid May (just before exams).  And I'm not sure how I feel about it... there's a lot that I like, like the revamped dungeon crawling and the gorgeous new 3D enemy models (I'm not just a Persona fan, I've been playing the main series since SMT3, so these demons/Shadows/Personas are as familiar to me as Cactaurs and Behemoths are to Final Fantasy fans), like the character designs... but, and maybe because it's just early, I'm not really feeling as attached to my party as I was the cast of P4.  In a lot of ways, P5 reminds me more of P3.  That's not exactly a bad thing- P3 was an excellent game.  But P4 was really special.  P4 was a game I couldn't put down and was a little sad when it ended.  P5 has me playing for an hour or so and feeling ready to quit.

TBH, I'm not really far at all. Just a few days in since I haven't had time to play.

Maybe you enjoyed the P4 cast so much cause they were all happy-go-lucky, which cannot be said for the somber/professional P3 cast? At least, that's the reason why P4 was so enjoyable for me.

Atlus needs to include a brosuke in every game as far as I'm concerned 

Does anyone have issues with screen protectors peeling off due to the heat of the system in the dock? I just put a tempered glass protector on mine, and have heard that this may be an issue with use in docked mode.

Persona 5 has mad style. Even the menus are glorious

Honestly regret grabbing mass effect. Shoulda jumped on horizon instead. 

Game just doesn't feel as captivating as the original trilogy.

Just never understood the draw of Destiny. I purchased it at release with a few friends. We had our fun in the crucible for around a month, but the story never held our interests. We eventually moved on. 

I'll have to admit that I'm not someone who really enjoys farming for loot/gear, in any game really, nor do I have time these days to commit to the grind. 

Just bought Persona 5 though, so I suppose I'll have to make time...

Edit: The game came out in September 2014. It's only been around 2 years since launch. How is 226 days of gameplay possible?

Picked up Kingsom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD. Silly naming metrics aside, the game offers a ton of content for the price, especially if you've never played the originals (I think it's 4 full games and 2 cutscene remastered movies).

Thoughts on the transforming head? The videos I've seen make it seem like a cool but finicky gimmick. The mouthpiece seems to separate easily, without even engaging the lever on the top of the head.

I think I'll stick to the parts swapping head when I get it. Interesting that they didn't go the route of the unicorn (GFFMC), which retains perfect head transformation without the finicky separation issues.

Since NY isn't a second hand reseller like mandarake, I find it strange/sketchy that they can do mark-ups like this.

For some reason, I'm not super into how the F91 product looks in real life.

Maybe it's the high gloss finish, or the paint looking "sloppier" to my eye, but I feel that the greyer promo pictures look much better than the actual thing.

Dang, sorry to hear that. I'm on PS4, and the game has been an absolute blast so far. I really hope it starts working for you. 

Grabbed a copy of Nier Automata, excited to play Platinum's next masterpiece (going off the reviews). Also got a copy of Wildlands with three other guys, hoping the highest difficulty makes us work strategically.

Yeah, Seed and Seed destiny had so much re-used animation. The only re-used animation in IBO that I can recall is the Gusion RFC's scissor attack. 

I for one welcome the fact that these figures aren't instantly sold out. Makes collecting so much less of a hassle. 

Ended up switching from cdjapan to HLJ for that sweet FedEx shipping (at very reasonable pricing too). 

Just went ahead and paid the mild scalper price for an F91 on eBay.

Didnt want to lose this like I did the MB Strike Freedom.

Did let go of my MB 00 on HLJ to balance things out, so maybe one of you guys will see it pop up.
