I don't know as much about planes than some people here but even I can see that is no J-20.
Plus the J20 is ugly as sin.
agree... it just big black... and ugly...t 50 is more suited for yf 30

hey m.o.m.,

where did u get your hangars from? those really look great.
hey valid,

where can i find a resource for the $5.00 dollar hangars?
i buy it at my local hobby shop.. but you can search it in the internet.. search for the TT hongli mechanical chain base.. it's the china copycat for the kotobukiya mechanical chain base
-
good work Valid, but i don't find the MSG base...and i buy this korean set
That looks awesome valid. I think for the price though... that korean set is mighty tempting plus they look great also. From valid's video it looks like a little bit of weathering, decals and lights make all the difference.
if the price is the concern.. perhaps you could look for the china product.. kotobukiya price is like 15-18 dollars.. but the china product only cost 5 dollar..

i have my mechanical chain base modified by my local modeller .. this work quite well with bandai 1:100

Thanks!
I was building models not related to Macross world, so I not posted here.
Sorry, the first Misa is out of production and this commission is for a unique figure - no copy will be made.
awww bummer!!

Agreed. Those were great toys. In fact, while my Yamato 1/60 v2 is definitely tops, I think I may prefer my Bandai 1/100 to my Yamato 1/48. Sure, it's a much smaller scale, but I'm constantly amazed at how much they were able to cram into such a small size. I think it holds together better than the 1/48, and it's a lot cheaper too (or at least it was).
And the size it make it easy to display in diorama.. I'm planning to make some diorama with this scale

anyone know what this is? where can i get it?whoops no matter sorry for asking.. is it late to order this? where can i buy this? -
And here we have it folks, the final video and pics, This baby was delivered over a week ago to her new owner DarrinG. I'll let him post new video and pics, but here are mine. Enjoy. And oh the suprise. As you can see Darrin also asked me for some 1/60 vehicles for his hangar so There are now 1/60 ground support vehicles and trailers. I will offer these as a kit or you can get them assembled and painted. I'll start another thread in the Toy section, and some of you have already seen These in Darrin's posts, but now that this baby is off my workbench, all I have left to do is mail out some other kits, and I will start taking custom orders again and also see who is interested in the 1/60 vehicles.
these pics will probably suck cuz i had to return my 500 camera from work. Please be gentle
how much?

i Hope they still think macross line is one of their major profit source.. or else.. we might have to buy all of our macross toys from bandai

Thank you for all the comments guys! and thank you wm cheng! It was you who inspired me to paint mine.
I agree with you that the "101" decal that came with the kit was too small, so I used the ones from my 1/48 VF-1J. The rest of the decals were from the 1/60 VF-1J, VE-1, and VT-1. The tail fin is the only one I painted. I actually used the testor "Radome Tan", guess it turned out alright. The booster cone were painted with Mr. Metal Gold. I personally liked it, kind of give it a "space craft" look. I then cover everything with a flat coat.
Again, thanks sharing all the tips and references on this thread! It was so useful! I love this community!
hai vf 1.. are you using lacquer paint? what type .. and is it durable from scratching?
-
i use it to all of my action figure to help them standing still .. never have any complain
-
yup quake putty.. in my country we called it base on the brand.. "blutack"
-
just use blutack it's strong enough and you can still detach it if you want to play with the gimmick
-
That looks really awesome Valid, and I'd definitely pick a sheet up. However, one note: if you're going for replica VF-84 tail markings, the Jolly Rogers used a skull and crossbones.
hahah i'm just kinda tire with a cross bone.. if it's finish i will put the AI master so everyone could print it by themself
