Welcome on board Edson!
I just bought a 3D printer myself, and I'll just add my 2 cents' worth here.
One of the guys who delivered the printer said that clear plastic always comes out foggy/frosted when 3D printed. Honestly, I don't know how true this is, but that's what he said. At most, you can use clear filaments for tailights or landing-gear lights, which don't need to be clear and transparent.
Not sure if this also applies to Shapeways--since they seem to be able to print things in glass and silver, they might be able to print out clear canopies.
BTW, are you printing this at Shapeways or using your own printer?
gai gu - 11 what brand is your 3 d print? where did you buy it? and how much you paid for it

man, as much as I liked the Frontier Valks, I can't justify buying 3 Lucifers. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
The VF-25S though, is a whole other story
Bandai, here's my money! TAKE THAT!
hahah i know it's pathetic... but I DON"T CARE!!! LOL perhaps i could sell one of them to my fellow countryman who missed it
-
what? are u a reseller?
NOPE!! i'm just sick with bandai.. i missed a lot of the release... so this like my payback!!
-
i have 3 backup ..i hope i will end up with 3 lucifer >.<

for me.. if they made it with the same quality as the RG gundam.. then it's all a bargain for me.. hopefully they will tint the plastic

Hi, yes this is the new Bandai 1/72 kit for Yamato 2199. The folded wings is an optional configuration in the kit. It includes all parts needed to have the wings folded...though I found the hinge pieces to be a bit bulky so I modded mine so the hinges are smaller. The kit comes colored with the red nose yellow trim but the hull is grey when it should be a bare metal. Even if everything was pre colored I personally paint my models fully...always looks better that way.
Chris
thank's chris.. i will put this kit to my future a must buy list

Hey guys, just finished my first 2 Cosmo Zero's from the new Space Battleship Yamato 2199 I had posted these pictures in the Yamato 2199 thread but thought they would be missed since many of you may not watch the show....Shame on you if you are not it is an AMAZING remake!! the Cosmo Zero design has been one of my all time favorite sci-fi designs since I was a kid....it's just so aggressive looking. The inflight Alpha 1 is painted in Testors MM aluminum and Tamiya flat red and Yellow. The primmer I used was Gray. The storage mode UNCN fighter is Tamiya chromed silver other colors are the same but with a white primer. The difference can be seen in the exhaust nozzle of the inflight Alpha 1 since that nozzle is silver. The overall difference isn't that big...the UNCN one is a little more bright particularly the reds and yellows since I used the white primer. Next up Yamamoto's Alpha 2 (orange nose and white trim for those that don't know) and then my custom Cosmo Zero painted like a WWII Zero to go with my 2 Harlock SW-190's that I painted like WWII German FW-190's.

Chris
quick question.. the folded wing and nose.. is it optional.. or build in gimmick that we can transform whenever we want? is it the bandai kit? i thought it already been paint from bandai?
-
it is a great toy..but just a shame because i'm trying to create a one scale diorama..and the toy's will look weird.. over sizing the other model
-

SUNDOWNERS!
nice!
Love those sunrise v-stabs!
yes.. i thought that everyone will made a skull custom.. but i always love the sundowners tail design..and i don't have the skill and courage to repaint my valk so my custom only limited to water slide decal only
Wolfpack anybody? Planning to custom mine in that scheme to accompany my VF-0A.
yes!! wolfpack will be awesome.. before i create the sundowners i was considering to use catbomb insignia..but this is a lightning not a cat heheheh
