Is that suggesting to contact the postmaster general directly or should I just give the generic USPS phone number a call?
The USPS here will tell you to get in touch with the sender so send AmiAmi an email. I got a response ftom them today and this is what it said:
I have already requested an investigation with Japan Post.Starting late Nov. 2009 shipment, we are having problems with several Japan-U.S. parcels.Please bear with us and wait for the investigation results by Japan Post & USPS. -
I'm a MF newbie but I can't get over this design. I like much of what we call Macross designs but not this one.
Not sure a full robot mode is realistic or mildly practical. Maybe more of a Gerwalk mode with thrusters on all sides to be more maneuverable for quick turns while the cruiser is for more straight forward / long distance travel.
I gauge my emotions on whether or not I would want to show another adult sci-fi fan something. I would want to avoid the MQ. I can just hear them saying - "You mean the ship they're in turns into a robot too?" I know the original series featured this but it came off as more by chance, without such a distinct samurai looking robot mode.
Have I yet to see a MF clip where the hands are useful and combat realistic? Seems kind of silly to have it holding the aircraft carrier portion to me.

Well, I checked the post office and nada. So it's in limbo somewhere and there's no way for me to find out what happened to it.
Damn I was gonna go check my PO today but from the looks of it they wont have it either. I fired off an e-mail to AmiAmi so that they can get in touch with their PO and file an inquiry as to where the hell my macross quarter is.

More likely is that the American government is having customs tear into more packages it try to find more customs revenue..

It's probably just the combination of heightened security on packages + the holidays slowing things down.
i dont think its heightened security, I thinks its someone's f!@# up. Another one of my packages shipped on the 24th via airmail from HK and I got it today. My macross quarter which I paid EMS for is still in limbo and shipped on the 22nd.

What I don't get is that my shipment had supposedly left Japan on the 22nd and they hadn't gone on holiday yet at that time. So have they parked the plane on a cloud and are just partying in the sky for the past week or maybe they decided to have Japanese people work at customs at the US side?
By my reckoning, my package should already be in the US now and that's why I'm confused why it's taking so long. I'd understand if my package had only just shipped out around the 25th or later.
I agree, it should've at least updated that its in the US by now. Hopefully it gets here today. The PO should refund the fees, this was EXPRESS mail we paid for and there is nothing express about this.

I'm STILL waiting on my Macross Quarter to arrive. It was shipped on the 22nd via EMS and in the past, EMS has always only taken 4 days to ship to my house. I'm giving it extra time due to the holidays, but I'm getting worried and I don't even know who I would call or how if I needed to contact EMS.
Mine also shipped on the 22nd, along with another member here. seems like all our stuff must be in the same container.

There is hope Macross quarter owners that had package shipped on the 22nd, after a long ass 2 week flight my Macross Quarter finally arrives in the US!!
