Its character-driven, not action or plot-driven, so to many it would seem like nothing. I enjoy it though.

when its on,i put it on as 'background noise' so if something happens i can look around, I can see its character driven but most of the characters arent that interesting,Its one of those series where you have to be in the right mood to enjoy i feel.

ok now after ive seen a few episodes Im saying StarGate Universe so far. I enjoyed the other series (SG-1,Atlantis),but nothing is happening in this series. its just...nothing.

I watched 'The girl who lept thru time' ..alil sad really..

now im watching the 'Tenjou Tenge: Ultimate Fight OVAs' becuase i need to continue where the series abruptly finished off lol.

I just want to know why is he alive? and from the words that vader and yoda are saying,its like he has no where to go,he cant be a jedi,he cant be a sith hes just lost in the force,unable to see anyone he was with perhaps. vader said to admit that all is lost,and even yoda said a similar thing. so he just enrolls to become a fighter in a crowd to earn some money/living lol Im sure the story will flesh itself out down the track but Im very curious how they are gonna answer them.

Alot of you guys are being Overly critical and basing a review on the trailers, seriously go see it in the cinema with 3D,it really is a great visual effort and a well done film.

Just got home from seeing it in 3D, At first I got the feeling of a Pocahontas-story with Nightelves from Warcraft lol,and it is alil,but hell its done well and Ive always loved the pocahontas type story.

The land and effects are outstanding! a definate visual feast,and the battle is awesome. Im giving it 4.5/5.

I wonder how many Macross fans there are in australia that can make it next year,its almost 2010 and im getting excited. I'll try and promote the con where ever I can to maybe boost numbers and point them in the direction of this thread or the twitter page,or ifI can get some more to add to the facebook page,but Ive had no luck yet in that one lol.

Ive been thinking of what Id bring to display since I have to come down from north qld I dont want to bring everything so I might just display my minmay and misa collection of course I will bring a valk or 2 and my psp with both MAF and MUF lol. If i get time I might even try and make something for the con.

Ive also been thinking about the cosplay comp,I do hope that there will be a couple that get suited up,of course If I get time between work that is,but I should be able to.

My only hope is, that when I get the chance to see the new Wolverine flick, it's at least a bit better. X3 was truly HORRIBLE!!!

Wolverine was even worse then X3, I didnt think it would be possible but they did it!

well I stopped watching halfway thru the first season so I dont know if it got better,I suppose I could give it a second run. I liked the first couple of episodes,I just felt it got abit slow and loose mid-way.

Definately agree about those cheap films such as 'Alien vs hunter' and 'the terminators' lol...dont even watch the trailers,the cases are enough but may cause blindness and loss of sainity *hack*.

as for series, I guess I will say 'Farscape',the first few eps where decent but then it kinda slipped. Im sure theres worse but thats what came first came to mind.
