This...my friend, looks BAD-A$$!!!
Yes, that is bad a$$. You know what's even more bad a$$? This SIZE of the pics
-
Macross1979, Do you have any of the Yamato Destroids? They are very nice. I have a Defender and it was worth the $$$.
NO! I wish. I just can't see spending that much on them until I get all the v.2 1/60 VF-1s.

Very nice quality, but too expensive for my blood.
Graham
What's too expensive? Cause those SD items are AWESOME!
-
When I win the lottery or befriend Bill Gates, I'll get you one and a set for me!!!
Thanks! But if that happens. You should get me a whole set too

it is a High thrust vernier, (as apposed to the low thrust "hook-and-handle" verniers) same as the blisters on the nose.
now in SDF:M there were a couple of episodes where they were shown shooting lasers, but it's just an animation error (blame AnimeFriends/Star Pro). officially they're Vernier thrusters.
Yes...THANK you for the visuals and the great explanation. I knew I had seen them shoot lasers previously. Should of known is was an "error".

I WANT IT I WANT IT!!! Who wants to buy one for me?
-
I like this one the best. VERY NICE!

and that poor 1/72 vf-11B,
spending its last days on the shrine
That's what I was thinking. Time for the 1/60 to come in and blow it away.

Good news, I've been waiting for the TV 1A to be released. Mine is already paid for through Overdrive. I hope the stands come out soon too.
Chris
See now. Speaking of stands. You know how they keep including the attachment pieces for their launch arms...well...do you think they will come out with a "better" stand in order for us to use those pieces if we do not have one of the launch arm stands? I have 1 Launch arm. But that's probably the only own I'll own.

Bigger bang!? Was the disassembly going to be with an M-80? -MT
Either that or he's building it with an explosive inside it and when the day comes.....BOOM!
-
hmm.. really? though it was some sort of lights or laser... seems to be too small to be a vernier
I'm going to go with a Light. But it very well could be a laser since it would be pointing forward in fighter mode.

nice collection man! the shelve configuration reminds me of mine which im reposting again for the 4th time
And it is STILL AWESOME!
-
Does that mean Ron customised those things or Ron supplies them?
I believe he built the hanger from scratch and just painted the crew men.

Apologies for the late response. I missed the MiG-29...but here's more info on how I made the F-14. The Zero kit was identical to Hasegawa's low-res F-14, with Macross decals included. I used the pilot figures from the VF-0D (the F-14 only included contemporary figures) and added details to both the figures and cockpit to match the design from the animation. It took a little work to get the pilots to fit properly, but I was pleased with the result. Thanks for your question. -Greg
WOW! Amazing work mate! To have your skill would be such a gift. Those are all so beutiful. Keep up the good work and keep sharing.
-
Woah nice shots MacrossMan. Where do you get that mecha bay ? Your own built? And where can i get those crewmen?
I'm not MM but I can tell you that the kit and the crew men are from Ron5864. Right MM?
-
Wow. That is a great job. I would love to have the modeling skills along with some patience.

Hello all, I'm pretty new, 1st post and all but I have actually been reading these forums since 2004, I had Comcast internet which prevented me from signing up but now I live in Texas and they don't have Comcast so I figured I will intro myself by showing my displayed collection
NICE COLLECTION! I really like those shelves. Do you remember where and when you got them?

Just looking at that pic makes me drool over the thought of the VT-1 & VE-1 coming out for the v.2 1/60 line.

The ring it has to me is a fat guy named Joe! Hahaha.

As a note, I only took aircraft, not Destroids. Had I, this would be a bigger list.
It stands as a testament to the awesome of Lego.
Thanks you guys for all these. I will need to save them.

Actually there are 3 options. The plain Yellow, the Speed Miracle Spacey, and the Strategic Military Services. All options are included as only that "stripe" needs to be replaced to make the version you want.
Chris
Well that's neat. I totally had no idea that was an option...or even that they said that. Too cool.

Jotun is Robotech indeed, but I prefer this name to "Orguss Valkyrie."
Jotun does have a nice ring to it.
