  1. Feel the same way bro

1/55 still has my vote(yeah yeah I'm in the minority but I love the way that thing looks) but this is one of the finest Yamato VF-1 variants made.

I'll agree with you there. I LOVE the look of the VT & VE in 1/55 chunky form. But damn these 1/60s are sweet.

  2. What the hell does Severus have to do with anything? :p

I'm eagerly awaiting the HLJ Early Bird on the Elint. I'm wondering if the head will be attached the same way as the others because I'd like to see what it looks like with a 1A head.

Unless Harrys flying that thing....nothing

That would be interesting to see with a 1A. I bet the head will be the same. It's a lose if it's not.

  3. Since there's no food provided, I think we should have MEMO grill for us as his avatar suggest he's a good griller!

Anyways, its nice to have a different scenary than the previous years. Looking forward to meet up some old Macross fans again! Last year, Tomy Yune joined us for dinner at Denny's. Thanks to.....oh, I forgot this name. He personally knows Tommy Y! That was a kool experience.

Actually I beleive it's Memo or ever Aaron (MechTek)(spelling) that knows Tommy.

  4. This my friend is a work of art! Makes me want to get a second VF-1D to display in multiple modes. No way I can do that now with the Elintseeker coming down the pipe.

Your pic taking skills are taking off man. You'll have to share some tips or maybe write a book: Photography for Dummies...if it hasn't already been written. B))

Thanks brother! I will work on that book. I may be too dumb to write it though :p I am seriously considering getting multiples of all the V.2 1/60s. I just need to hit the lottery (or a bank) first.

  5. they supposed to be coming out with a new Generic stand that's cheaper than the launch arms and at least looks better. I don't know if they'll use the old mounting parts though.

    YES!

IIRC they will. They show the old VF-0's mounted on them so I pretty sure that it uses the same mounts. At least I'm hoping so...I got 4 on order and plan on getting a few more if they work out well. Hopefully Yamato won't box them in 1/60 size boxes so we can save on shipping!! They really need to take lessons from Bandai on how to properly box toys :D

    Chris

YES YES! Thanks...this is really good news!

What's the big deal about Max VF-1S? I don't recall seeing that in the cartoon or in DYRL.

    It's there...TRUST ME.

You missed have had your eyes closed during the scene where Max takes on Miria in DYRL.

Such an awesome battle. I even put that battle on my cell phone cause it was so cool.

Dude, we all know how cool you are with those shades (your mom told us). But you really need to take them off when watching movies or videos. B))

 Sorry Agent GHQ...it was funny.

    Thanks, Mr. March. ^_^

YES! Thanks Mr. March. You have been the biggest help.

  6. Some pics of the new VE-1 by Yamato.

THANKS! Those are amazing! I am SO SO SO EXCITED!!!

    OMG SWEET!!!

this is going to be crazy expensive but I don't care. I NEED IT!!!

    What you said! ^_^

It's not a toothpick. In scale it's a 4x6 wooden beam to beat the enemy with. It's a low tech undectable weapon only allowed for use on the VE-1.

    :lol::lol: OMG! Too funny mate!

That is easily the finest looking Elintseeker toy ever made. I've actually never been keen on the design before, but those pics are seriously squeezing my WANT! glands.

This is very true my friend. The V.2 1/60s have yet to be a let down.

  7. or surpass me......its inevitable lol

    Yeah right....we'll see!

    your pics look good, 1979!

    THANKS MATE!

    this one's cool... B))

    Thanks to you too mate!

Truly this pic is a master piece.

I appreciate all the kind words all THANKS!

hey 1979... looking at your gerwalk pics i'm guessing you haven't extended the legs at the knees... it really helps in doing more aggressive gerwalk poses... :)

I totally did not even notice till you said something. I will do that for the rest of my pics. Silly me

    a little wide angle fun

Ooooooooo pretty! Thanks for those. I have considered picking one of these bad boys up but too thin for me I feel.

Yamato should have those missiles tip painted red like in the artwork!

That is true my friend. Damn Yamato...1 more strike

  8. Here's my thought on how the transition from the VF-0 to the VF-1 went. Keep in mind these pictures are totally out of scale, the characters are not non-cannon, and is only my rendition of how the VF-0 was retired as the VF-1 came into play. You'll have to forgive the guy on the catwalk in the first pic. He suffered a heart attack and went unconscienous at first site of the new VF-1.

Very nice brother. I'm glad that you finally received that VF-1D we've all been raving about.
