  1. The L.E.D. Mirage is sort of an experiment in simulating semi-transparent effects. Volks and Wave released some (semi-)transparent resin kits of the L.E.D. Mirage and K.O.G. but they are very expensive and hard to get. Thus I used my solid L.E.D. Mirage and tried to simulate the effect. Although the experiment is not a success, I concluded that the idea could work but I need more patience and a better airbrush. (Mine is 0.3mm but it cannot deliver some subtle effects that can be done using an airbrush.)
  2. Completed on Sunday, Hasegawa's 1:72 YF-21 from M+. I gave up some of the decals because I don't like the yellow and grey on the decals. The blue (GSI H15) is also lighter than the suggested one.
  3. They are really good! It is interesting to note that some kits were built with some Star Wars kind of effects on them. I meant you can see they do not look like some popular Japanese work, it has some influence from the old Star Wars finished kits.
  4. Built between 1987 - 1997 Built between 1999 - 2004 New/Unfinished kits
  5. Are we talking about models (require assembly, glue and paint) or toys? How come the scale goes to 1/60 or even 1/48?
  6. The weapon set has two DRYL pilots, just get a knife and convert one into the TV version. You don't need to carve it precisely; in this scale and through the clear but thick canopy, what matter is the painting, not the shape of the pilot. Once this is done, simply make recast of the pilots in both versions.
  7. How could I vote if I don't know your skill level?
  8. Hasegawa released a CF-18 (1:72) model back in the late 80's or early 90's. Of course it comes with some appropriate size decals.
  9. Also check out this link to see a painting scheme similar to the CF-18. Low Visibility VF-1
