    I haven't transformed my 1J yet, but I've looked thru both manuals. Although it references attaching the neck cover..I can't see anything related to putting on the side covers? I've owned alot of 1/60's , but never with option parts. ..I'm between VPNs at the moment, so a YouTube video would be blocked for me here in China. Is attaching the side covers instinctual..or is there a vital moment in the transformation where it's attached? ..Does anyone have photos or a link?..thanx in advance guys!!!

    This was5 years ago, a Yamato 1D...at the time I hadn't come across anyone with an issue related to other VF—1's ..everyone was like "get a sharpie to it"...but I'm not a model guy, hadn't built a 1/60 kit and didn't feel comfortable with doing that....so I sold off spare parts....The peg was degraded inside it's peg hole and when it transformed it from fighter to gerwalk...split the intake seam apart....colorful language and veins in my forehead appeared.

    Awesome! thanx for your reply Keiichi!..great comparison shot..mine just arrived at work, will pick it up tomorrow! ...yeah the seam at the intakes was a big problem with my 1D...aswell as the degraded peg behind it. ..as for the shoulders, I like to transform my 1/60's 10-15 or more times a day..I'm a durability tester!

    Good news, my 1J was lost in China, found sent back to Japan and re—sent on the 8th...so any day now!!! I've been lurking hard, thanx for the pics everyone!! ...How's everyone's shoulders? How's the mold?..little paranoid. I guess because there's little tampo on the the Armour, we can't expect any different variants in the future?

    my colleague gave me the wrong delivery address...as in it doesn't exist, now my VF—1 is lost somewhere in China , hlj say wait it out. Saving face means no direct apology or admitting fault. I'd love to headbutt him..but he knows Wing Chung and would see my headbutt coming through my weight shift and deflect it...so chin up neoexcaliber!!

    thanks anubis20 for the pics...I hate it when a VF 1/60 is posed with it's head looking up..cheapens the look of the toy. I like a slightly worms eye view with the head looking down at u...very intense!!

    Did that come across, I was trying to be subtle Lol. Other super powered characters stopped breathing in & out in AoU..but he's still alive? His tribute at the end of the 1st Avengers movie should have read : " Nice guy,with mental health issues.He only had a bow & arrow...we tried to tell him!!" He should have turned up in AoU as a taxidermi only.

    The VF-1J head doesn't look great at all, but the rest is pretty cool...hope they make some mold changes to the head.

    Saw it. Loved everything Hulk, thought that was done well!, That whole-"mind the language" thing wasn't funny the 1st time ,nor the 2nd or 3rd. I thought the Natasha/Banner romance was believable. ....but this back story of Hawkeye was a joke! What modern woman with children is gonna wait in the wilderness for a man that is happy to thro his life away at any moment? What if she wants to go to the shops for milk?...can't do it!,...Do they have milk cows in their backyard? Or if they're meat eaters..a slaughterhouse? Is she up at 6am plowing fields for fruit & veges?....Or is she happy to malnourish her children with tin food? What's her highlight of the year going to be?..Awaiting for home renovations?...Are the kids home schooled?...Am I missing something or was it obvious that her character was written by a man? What is Hawkeye gonna do once he's run out of arrows?..Side flip over metal robots until his thighs give out?
