  1. Yeah I hear what you guys are saying,I,ve had 2 experiences with over-drive and both have been less than great ,as I mentioned in my post BUT if blacklisting is for money lost and toy not recieved or wrong toy then mods delete my post

    THANX. B))

  2. Has anyone had any problems with ordering with over-drive lately??

i,ve tried 3 times to order the Mopeada Beagle Ray from them

The first time the auto-mated checkout process failed to recognise my password,I thoght that it was my mistake since I,ve not used my password and account with them for awhile,so I asked for a new one,it was sent to my email address, then I return to the site used it and still nothing,I then asked for another new password 3 more times, and still nothing.

I,d contacted them, they said they were having problems with their payment process ,and refered me to world pay to complete the payment details with them on behalf of over-drive,and yet again nothing,at this point I,m very pissed said I,d give them one more try and would want a discount on shipping, now their not responding to any of my further emails!!

The Stick Beagle I,d recieved from them awhile back in January was in an oversized box with little bubble wrap and 1 of the 2 ,s box was very badly damaged the other perfect, since I,m a box collector I opened the damaged 1 and everything was fine and I,d left it at that F*#k you over-drive and respond to my emails ,if you weren.t the cheapest ride armor I know of I,d, have dropped you long ago!!!

  3. the WF 2009 saddle bags for the Beagle look great!!! (painted/moulded? dark green)

Anyone got the word these..as in are they only on sale or display at the festival ,or ending up on online store,s to buy???

I,m gonna go ahead and get me some Ray Beagles before they go.it would be great if these saddle bags became available to compliment this dead line,it would help soften the blow alittle!!

  4. I gotta think part of the reason for the cancellation was the sudden glut of mospeada products (including duplicates and triplicates of the same mecha) in a very short amount of time. I'm sure there's a lot of moderate fans, like me, who are only gonna buy 1 version of any given item and not necessarily the 200 dollar big ticket version.

True that, I guess we can hope that this Robotech movie gets made to capture the wallets of gen y & z ,we can bitch along the way ,but it could be a means to an end ,hopefully toy engineering will be more cost effective in a few yrs with techknowledgy and we could see an even better ride armor for a affordable price range and we could have the buying power of younger generations to see an entire line being made!

  5. I just hope that future companies aren,t scared off by touching the Mospeada franchise from this current situation, in the next 20-30yrs as generation x starts dieing off from the aging process + disease etc there,ll be an even smaller niche market to sell to ,unless it,s gets remade somehow ( all I ask is they stay with the f#*kin, lineart).Alot of people like, alot of people can,t afford it, perhaps in a few yrs if/when we recover from this economy maybe someone will have the insight to try again and exploit gen xer,s while we,re still healthy alive and kickin,.

  6. When both Beagles sell out ,the after market will increase for sure, but will it level off at some point because the line only includes Stick + Ray ,or will it just keep on climbing.???

Hopefully there,ll be a poll or list of people who could afford it right now, including people who can,t afford it now ,but will invest in it at some point, a time capsule for futures companies perhaps...yeah I know I,m dreaming, but it,s nice to.!!

I wonder how this has/will effect this "Mospeada book" that,s mean,t to come out ,we haven,t heard much,I hope the same fate eludes that book!!!!

  7. troyness the link has nothing to do with you, again it was a response to the head sculpt which I used as to toss in a spoon full of reality of the current small company Japanese toys market. You might have replied to my post, but again it had nothing to do with you as an individual in the first place.

OK cool, thanx Save ,sorry I miss understood!!

I don,t know if it,s wishfull thinking or not,but do you think it might be possible Beagle will still release Houquet as they,ve come this far with the prototype, and then call it quits after they,ve released her ?,it seems that they,re half way there, or is it too much of an expense to put her through final production ?

  8. Yes a great toy released at the wrong time!!!

Perhaps even in the wrong order ,maybe if Beagle had released Houquet second, sales might have been enough to keep the line going (atleast for a third release perhaps),I guess sales for the Ray might pick up now,if Ray sells out and the line doesn,t continue ,are we to assume that nothing could have saved it anyway in these economic times??

And if Ray does sell out ,and still faced with a dead-end toy line- I guess we can put to rest the idea(atleast in this circumstance)that it,s the toy collector,s fault for waiting for the sale.I just don,t like the link refering to my post ,as if I,m to blame

  9. Tober,Agent-GHQ

You,re both Aussie,s me to, from Brisbane. !!

Yes I know about the various price range from $200+,the highest I,ve seen awhile back was $280.00  (so you know, who cares, rounding up ..whatever ^_^ )

HLJ.COM was the lowest I,m aware of at $150-60 abouts.

That,ll probably never happen again due to being discontinued so the cheapest around (Beagle that is) seems to be $219.00 at over-drive and they haven,t gone down for clearence always the same.Anyone got an idea of Houquet,s release date?

  10. Thanx Hiriyu for the link, thanx atom for the review. It does look a little tighter in bike mode as atom was rolling the bike across the floor, the the front wheel armor and gun didn,t move at all!!!,on the Stick release it would have flopped all over the place, damn I,m soo tempted now to get one ...must control myself until Houquet,s release( Ray if you,re cheaper then ,you,ll be mine) B))

  11. Agent-GHQ.

I forgot to mention, everything that I,ve mentioned refers to the Stick Beagle..NOT the Ray Beagle.(I don,t own one),but from what I,ve read here at Macrossworld & jenius,s review it seems that the bike atleast ,is a little bit tighter, and that the helmeted head is fixed,PM some of the members here or visit jenius,s site for Stick & Ray,s review,if your not too emotionally attached to Stick ,I say get Ray,s release he,ll have some improvements and you can go from there(the screw hole in the neck is still with the Ray release, but from the prototype pics of Houquet it may be covered with her release)

    ^_^

  12. I don't own any of the 1/10th but after reading your description, I'm a bit discourage to drop a near $300 bucks of this ultime latest and greatest toy! Take some pics of the gripes you have mentioned above Mr. Troyness...

    Agent-GHQ.

By the way thanx for your reply to my previous post, about collectionDX.com !!

Sorry if I,ve made you nervous about theBeagle, that was not my intent!!

The cloth has been a issue with some for 2 main reasons:

1.the look of it(personally I like the look of the cloth)

2.it comes apart at the seams.(which is my problem, and a few others on this thread ,and other sites I,ve visited)

Stick,s front wheel armor /forearm armor is very loose in both modes.

The windscreen attaches to the bike ,is also very loose.

The HBT(feul) tank attaches to the seat ,is also weak/unstable-comes off easly.

The targeting scope is very loose, infact it falls out ,I don,t even bother taking it out and attaching it anymore, for me too much hassle.

The ankle armor (MB tampoed) is very loose,I find it hard to get it to hold it,s position extended out (but is possible).

The loose helmeted head.(but jenious,s excellent idea of putting some tape on the ball joint has fixed that)

These are the main problems, but transforming it correctly(and there are a few instinctual things in the transformation that isn,t in the manual)and you shouldn,t have any problems!!

I was trying to say in my post that I,ve transformed this thing excessively, easly over 200-300 times ,and for that, it,s held up pretty well. Sorry I don,t have a camera ,as you can tell by my avatar ,but most of what I,ve mentioned is in jenious,s review.
