  1. There is a "20 Years of Macross" movie on www.boxtorrents.com that is supossed to be from the 20th anniversary DVD. It's 110MB in size.
  2. Hi everyone! I was sick last week, and also testing my new computer. DatterBoy: Try making the rivets to protrude. Make circles with dark edges and light fill color.
  3. I know I know, but I model de flaps before looking for references. See F-111.net Slotted Fowler flaps are really complex things.
  4. more BTW: The panels lines are modelled, and not rendered on the texture. Smaller riveting would look better isn't it?
  5. See? Booleans are my friends, since there is no draw tool in TS3.2
  6. After some more BOOLEAN craziness there is my new remodelled wing
  7. Damn! That detail is tight!!! How did you get such good looking surface detail? Because everytime I do surface detail the height always is 'wrong' somehow. Also what program are you using 3D wise? Well, my English isn't good enough to explain this the panel lines are "cuted" on the surface by using boolean operations. I create very thin cubes that match de panel lines, then I made a new copy of the leg for instance, resize it just a little, substract it to the cube and then substract the cube to the original leg. I'm usign Truespace 3.2 DatterBoy: That battroid look amazing!!
  8. The other side BTW: the leg is about 5K polys
  9. Well, I been working on a new leg all the week. Ihad to restart several times Still needs work, there is some smoothing problems About the Strike Valk blueprints, the proportions are wrong only on the side views, which are a little shorter than it should. You can fix that with a Photoshop or PSP, open the Strike Valk blueprint and the VF1J one, select the cockpit and copy as a new layer on the Strike Valk blueprint. Set that layer blending mode to multiply or something that let you see what's behind. Move the layer until is over the cockpit of the strike valk. If needed, resize proportionally the layer so the vf1-j cockpit mach the vertical size of the strike one. Then, resize horizontally the background layer 'till the two cockpits match.
  10. Astek: WOW! Well, next is the gunpod:
  11. Kornholio, agentex, great work! and fast! First thing I did this week, the amm-1
  12. You have just discovered what found that mechanic on the Skull one cockpit in the episode that Roy die. (Forgive my bad english) Well, I try to soften the seat but I can't do much. Anyway, I get tired of the cockpit...
  13. Anyone knows how to convert .MAX files to another format WITHOUT 3ds max? I been able to partially open the files with an old version of 3d exploration but almost 60% of the model is lost.
  14. A closer look to the (still unfinished) main landing gear.
  15. Well, I have upgraded to Truespace 3.2 (free for download at Caligari's site) The next couple are from a week ago.
