Here are some quick and dirty rendition of the NUNS insignia
The one in the VF-171s and in amber on the sim screen, also on a book in the president desk:
This one is on the ships id tags on the sim screen, except for the Frontier Shell 'window', that one doesn't have the central line (which I suspect is not a line but text)
And this is on the uniforms:
Also note that same insignia on her hat badge:
Forgot to mention that the 1st and 3rd type of insignia es very similar to the Anti-UN insignia in SDF Macross
Also some mentioned that the AA barrage from the fleet have no effect, but if you watch closelly, it takes down two of the "blue tailed" bugs.

Did anyone noticed the birth marks on Sheryl's left leg? (In the scene when entering the gravity zone)

@Dante: Yes, I am working on making it less shiny.
@Knight: lol, Thought nobody would notice it... it is a bug in the renderer :-P I already fixed it.
@woz: I am not sure I am following you.. what is a grove? Also, could you be more specific about the vernier thrusters? I am not sure what part of the model you are referring to. If you could circle it in photoshop with your comments that would be excellent, but if not, a text explanation would do. I don't know what is a vernier thruster :-P
@Lonewolf: yes.
@zinjo: Thanks!
I am trying to improve the model as much as I can!

Meanwhile, a little teaser:
Oops I mean grooves
The vernier thrusters are the "small" rocket engines used to maneuver a space ship, in the sdf-1 are really big. I did a really quick model in TS to show what I mean by making the thrusters deeper

Your model is fantastic!
I really like the shiny blue surfaces on the SDF-1 hull, but I think the Prometeus deck is way to shiny, and those groves are unrealistic. Think of the poor crew and VFs trying to move over it.
Also, it'll be good if you add some deep to the 'vernier' thrusters en the main cannon and near the main thrusters. I don't think it were supposed to be that flat.

Sure! as long as you give proper credit is fine with me.

Whoa!!! Thanks!

Are you asking for FanArt for that fanfiction you post above?

Well, I use this material on my everyday work.
I first cut the basic shape with a scrollsaw, then I use a rotary tool to carve and give the piece the first details. And finally sand paper and a cutter knife for fine detailing.
If you are careful, you can get very fine details in this material. For example, the arms are hollow where it joints with the upper arm, just like in the plastic models (but not that clean)

Even a game!
I don't remember when I started this, haven't worked on it for like 2 years, except for a little fix I did some weeks ago, to make it work again after a winxp system restoration delete 1 critical config file of the game.
The 'game' (you can't actually kill anything) is quite customizable, as all the ship configuration resides on external config and data files.
The game engine features:
-Tile map engine
-Pixel perfect collitions with physics
-sparks and trail effect
-target following missiles

Anyone noticed that the Macross Galaxy fleet changes colour from green to purple on the opening secuence?
I wonder if it means something or it's just to differentiate both fleets...
