Well, the opening sequence shows one of the Megaroad fleets founding the Eden colony, but the one they show I don't believe was even launched by the date given. It was all sorts of screwy. Then there was the "WTF, SDF-4 Global? The Megroad-03 is the SDF-4!" thing going on. Lack of clarification FTL.

Well, it certainly helps things a bit. Its far less of as retcon and really just more of an addition. I'd like to see some final clarification on the whole "Macross-04" issue pertaining to the Global, though.

Except they were only able to reach Galia 4 quickly because they were using Fold Quartz boosters.

No, but thanks for playing. So, according to what Sketch is reading, the Macross Class vessels were being used for short range and exploration fleets, while the Megaroads were long range vessels.

Actually, Cathy didn't say it, and communication lag was the first thing she mentioned. If it takes that long for a data transmission to get through, just how long do you think it will take for a fleet to fold there? Besides, at the beginning of the series, they show the galactic map and the Frontier and the Galaxy are the only two fleets in that region of space.

From where? It would take days or weeks for a fleet to arrive.

I have to say, the other releases I have checked out besides Fabulous have all been pretty subpar. Nowhere near the audio or video quality.

There is something I hadn't thought of before, but they've done nothing to set it up. Protoculture honey bees, so to speak. This idea is far less fan fiction-ish than most I've heard, but with one episode left, they have next to no room to maneuver. Everytime I hear someone say "Birdman", I wonder if they actually watched Macross Zero. Then again, we are talking Kawamori, he can retcon it anyway he wants.

I am guessing Macross 04, as we all know the Megaroad class took up the SDF mantle, and there is evidence of the Megaroad-03 SDF-04 in the continuity.

Well, come on, lets be honest, being able to save any time you want is cheap and tends to make games too easy. The more I hear about this game, the more it reminds me of the first ZOE. Question is whether or not they end up with a true winner of a sequel like Kojima did with The 2nd Runner.

I really think some people need to go back and watch Zero again. We've seen NOTHING in Frontier so far that is anything like we see at the end of the series.

Which would ruin this series. If Kawamori wants to pull some sort of gigantic retcon by taking that sort of nonsense onto the end of this series, he's lost me and I'm done.
