    Yeah, still not feelin' it.

And still not diggin' the time period. Would have preferred 200...300...500 years before the Skywalker-saga. 100 years just doesn't feel far back enough.

I have to agree. I'd actually prefer that they went back to the Old Republic era.

I'll watch this show, but I had greater interest after seeing the first trailer than I did after this new one. My expectations just got lowered.

Yeah, I think this more had to do with Clavell not actually familiar with Feudal Japanese warfare. Like most just used textual examples like him at military meeting or lecturing with battle plans rather than specifics.

To the best of my recollection, Clavell doesn't depict warfare in any of his novels. That's simply not what they're about.

  3. As someone who has read the book twice and has seen the original miniseries probably 10 times over the past 30 years, I'm glad it ended the way it did. They did a really excellent job with the new miniseries, with my only quibble being that  Blackthorne doesn't come across as inquisitive (or perhaps intelligent) as the character should be. But, maybe I'm wrong on this and I just need to do a rewatch.

As of Wednesday, Hulu is now (at least partially) absorbed into Disney+. My bet is that this hub is where Macross will appear in the app.

That's been in preview for two months, I think. Not sure if it was available to everyone with a sub, or just some of us.

edit: read the article, was in beta for four months.

I am wondering if somone wanted to change KOTOR.

Like I think exploring Light vs Dark conflict was done in KOTOR 2...and it was one of divisive works.

It was only divisive because it was released unfinished and buggy with a lot of content cut. Obsidian was forced to rush it out the door by LucasArts and Microsoft. Thankfully, the cut content remained on the disc, and years later a fan project was able to fix many of the bugs and restore much of what was incomplete.

The story itself is well-loved by the fans.

House of the Dragon's channel combined the Green and Black trailers. HBO Max's channel split the trailer into "Green"and the "Black" trailers.

Part of me suspects they'll end the season on the Battle Above Gods Eye. Seems like a good spot to end the season.

    Spoiler

You don't think it's too early for that? I was thinking season 3.
