I know Kawamori said he didn't want to re-visit the original characters...
But doesn't 2012 give you FLASHBACKS or something?
It is the time they should release 1/60 VF4 then.

Metal Gear Solid 3
Boss:
"People's values change over time. And so do the leaders of a country. So there's no such thing as an enemy in absolute terms. The enemies we fight are only in relative terms, constantly changing with the times."

watched the movie.
Ozma vf25 armor rock!

Just got mine.
It's so small light and plasticky.
I'll be playing with this one for a few more days before I give a verdict.
Is it really to scale with those non scale RD Messias or is bandai taking us for fools with this non scale offering of theirs?
I don't have RD Messia's with me at the moment.
I can see a bra, energy drink and a box of tissue in the corner...
I thought this DX Monster suppose to be heavy?! (some people has comment it is not light weight)
-
I just checked out the trailer for the second Macross Frontier Movie and noticed this:
So who else wants a Movie version Koenig Monster with Gatling gun arms?
I am thinking to order one... but now, I might wait for this movie version...
-
hot girl, swimsuit + boots + rope...
all they need is a changing room in the invisible plane.
And don't forget the most important "candy" that they didn't have in the 70s'- "wonder"bra!
-
sad news.
It is a great site.

Uh, I think it would be $hitty to be that big and have no interior and no pilot. Even Robocrap's Matchbox version has an interior.
Not that I don't want to see interior and pilot in the toy version...
But asking Yamato to release a Regult toy, with the same scale, function and details as their model kit version. And expect to pay less? It is not going happen for sure.
-
Hopefully they continue to sell out rapidly and it will convince them of the desire to mass produce, just like the 1/3000 Regult. Even if they reduced scale to 1/72, it would be bigger and more impressive than Toynami 1/100... though I would still hope for 1/60.
Just hope Yamato will make a 1/60 toy version, perhape without interior and pilot (no hatch open), a little less details... but give us a sheet of sticker and decals!
-
ah...nice! Can't wait for its release!
Now I wish they can produce a 1/24 Gryphon.....
and more importantly - 1/24 Type 0.
-
Unlike you, I would have problem in accommodating two 1/3000 SDFs.
I will get the TV version for sure!
Come on, it shouldn't stop you. You have a rental storage!
And there is no guarantee that TV version will be made.
-
Good for you, 長谷有洋!
I am still thinking whether I should wait for the TV version. *sigh*
呂兄, it is Xmas! Get yourself one.
-
Just placed my order too.
Yamato, you better not have any qc issue this time!
-
DAMN. In fact, I like their Ichi Kuji prize figures. I like their face scripts better than those from Megahouse. Megahouse has a prettier Sheryl, but the Ichi Kuji ones grasp the Sheryl expression better IMHO.
Alas, obviously they don't give a damn for this cheap figures (1100 yen?). Wasted a good design.
**mourning**
Only 1100 yen?! No wonder looks like that...
-
$400, is more than I hope for... but at least it is a 'toy'!
Time to say good bye to DX Konig Monster, SOC GX55 and GFF MC Gundam unicorn (metal coat finished) etc...
-
If Yamato is still going to release it in the winter 2010.
I hope to hear some new info soon.
-
I'd buy another one if they updated it so it more like the destroids in the articulation and detailing. As they are now, I wouldn't buy another ever if it did come in TV green.
I agree what you say about updating the articulation. I love the Rau design, althought this 1/60 Q-Rau is not a great toy (still looks great for display). I bought the red version in normal price and then the Max version in discount recently.
I hope Yamato will release a new version 2 1/60 green Q-Rau (TV version with better articulation, details and decals)...
-
It is a good solid SOC toy.
But I just think the size is too small... that is a big let down to me. Wish they are a little taller!
-
I love to see that 1/35 RX78 being released too. However I can not possible to pay that much if it is going to be around 1000 dollars.
I also hope to see more 1/48 model kits. I like what they have done on the 1/48 Gundam (cheap with reasonable details - big size), I think they should do a Zack, RX78 Mk II or even Unicorn...
-
That really makes no sense though. I'd honestly argue that it should be battroid, destroid, shuttle with no Gerwalk mode. Personally I consider gerwalk a hybrid mode with more mobility than battroid but more CQC capability than the fighter mode, neither of which are the case with the Monster.
To me calling the mid mode destroid mode makes the most sense as it behaves as a support unit in that mode, like a almost all of the non-transforming destroids. Now the so called "destroid" mode fills the same CQC roll that every other battroid mode so they might as well call it a battroid.
not how they do it, but it would make more sense.
Making a "destroid" Monster transform (Konig Monster) never make any sense to me anyway...

None of them are good cause once you have one, you will keep buying them!

I am not sure, I don't read Japanese.
This (フィギュア王 no.153 / Figure King Magazine) magazine is just come out.
I guess all info (images) are rather new.
