  1. Sorry for the post. Anyone interested, there's still 3 hours and a bit left before my auction ends and I find a new home for the DX VF-1J. Hopefully to someone who will appreciate it more than me. Still low at $212.50 CAD (a user had to cancel their bid). https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Bandai-DX-Chogokin-VF-1J-Valkyrie-Hikaru-Ichijo-1-48-scale-Used-Complete/274476750570?hash=item3fe816d6ea:g:7-MAAOSw2glfStPM Good Luck!
  2. Hi all, just want to let anyone interested know I've decided to offload my DX VF-1J... auction style. I'll be sticking with the Arcadia and 1/60 line in general. Starting $150 CAD and no reserve. Good luck! https://www.ebay.ca/itm/274476750570
  3. Was one of the first to post, but didn't ship abroad.
  4. Ouch. That turned into one expensive paper weight bird.
  5. I went with the Percival. Personally, looks much nicer than Isamu's scheme. It also looks stealthy.
  6. Yep happened to me add well.
  7. My YF-29B has a cracked neck piece that holds the ball joint. A clean break too...

  9. Just using the wing flaps. The droopy wing flap sits on top of the other wing flap which keeps the wings aligned. As you can seen in my pic, the wing flaps are not aligned. The left wing flap is sitting on top of the right wing flap.
  10. Did the seller state this? ** SPECIAL ATTENTION** U.S. Customers would receive a flat envelope before actual shipping to avoid late shipping restrictions eBay has on U.S. area. A new tracking number would be provided after actual release. This is probably what was shipped. I've noticed this popping up recently with some PO items I'm viewing (China sellers).
  11. *duplicate post made in VF-1J thread* Well, I managed to get my wings lined up in battroid. My wing flaps are a bit wonky by the looks of it because by using them to apply small pressure with each other, I got them aligned. This is after I took the entire wing apart, shaved off what looked like excess glue on one side the rear rudder assembly is attached to and ended up stripping a screw hole in the whole process. So be extra careful if you decide to take it apart and reassemble it. But this wing misalignment seems to be more of a YMMV issue. Since I had no excess flash even after taken the time to shave off somethings here and there, I still had the issue. Only messing with the wing flaps seem to have fixed it (but adds to the list of things easily bumped and need to fiddle with after posing). Wing Aligned by Vicki Lee, on Flickr The wings are held together by 5 screws. Once you get those screws out, it's easy to dismantle. Here's a blow up of the assembly. 13. Considering they are the most iconic VF-1s of the show I agree. As for the DYRL Hikaru VF-1S, I consider it being the closest thing to a modern Transformers Jetfire and something I want. I'm not going to go all in with the DX. Probably the DYRL Hikaru VF-1S as mentioned and the Vermillion squad and that's it.
  14. Won't work as it will be too back heavy and tip the base over. It is not stable. I've tried it before shooting the poses I've posted.
  15. Well, I reversed the fighter holder on the exclusive stand to get the following results: Flight 2 by Vicki Lee, on Flickr Flight 1 by Vicki Lee, on Flickr Flight 3 by Vicki Lee, on Flickr Flight 4 by Vicki Lee, on Flickr I guess it's a another nice display option if you don't mind displaying the stand backwards for this.
