  1. Yes, thanks to my blood sacrifice the 29 survived with no damage. I haven't received a notification from NY. Hehe, I like to think we have a blood pact now. He is now my protector, now that I have given blood, sweat and tears. LOL
  2. I just wanted to share this. My Ozma 29 has drawn blood... I was moving some of my Valks around and placed my Ozma 29 on my coffee table. As I was walking past he coffee table my shorts got caught on the wing of the 29, and it started to fall off the coffee table. My reaction was to try and lessen the impact on the floor with my leg. That resulted in saving the Valk, but the points of the feet/engine nozzle scraping along my ankle and making s small cut. The bleeding wasn't too bad but it still drew blood.
  3. Thanks Spanner! I wish I had room on my desk to display it. Thanks, its good to have cool friends. I have yet to hear how much I owe him... Yes it is. Very nice addition and its always nice to open a sealed toy!
  4. I understand your frustrations with Flickr. I went through it too, but not at the level you are. I typically upload in small batches of 10 - 20 photos, its a bit more manageable when using their UI. Flickr is not the most ideal in managing images, I worked through the bumps, detours and u-turns in the system, and got used to it. I say keep at it.
  5. Glad to see you got your YetiStands setup David. A shot in Battroid mode.
  6. Nice pics! I initially didn't care for the missile pods because they were beige, but after seeing your pics it looks pretty good. Now I just have to find Ghost set for a decent price.
  7. Nice poses and shots! The VF-0 looks good with the booster, I might have to track down a booster for my VF-0S...
  8. Thank you! Actually your photo gallery is what got me inspired to take photos. Thank you, I glad to have a few VF-1's. Now the hard part is tracking down the other VF-1's I'd like to have. I thought about it but but part of me doesn't want to use the stickers. Are there waterslide versions available for sale? Yep, I use Flickr (along with a few other image hositng sites), there are a few other MW members on there too, and hopefully they can add some feedback too. Flickr has certainly gotten much better than before. They offer a good amount of storage 1TB, you can pay to make it ad-free but an ad blocker plugin/extension fixes that. I don't think there is an limit to how much you can upload in a day, I have never hit the limit. There is some image compression when you upload, but not enough to majorly degrade the quality of the image. I am happy with Flickr, the photostream page is nice and dynamic.
  9. I hope so too. Thank you. Thank you. If you really want to buy all over again, I can buy some of the Valks in your collection so you can start all over again. Thank you.
  10. Although not as amazing as the weather valks by WM and MJ. Here's my latest addition to my collection, a DYRL VF-1S Strike Roy. I am content with my collection... for now...
  11. Maybe bond one side and use a gap filler on the other side to help reduce the stress on the part?
  12. Thanks! Yes, it was the Valk I was waiting for. My friend messed with me at first saying he got me a flashlight, but later said he sent the Valk. I get Kit Kats and snacks too but not with this package. Yeah, he's a really good friend, and he's into collecting so he knows what to look for. I have other friends that go to Japan but they are not familiar with the toys so I don't ask them to toy hunt, but they are familiar with car parts.
  13. One of my stands had small amount of gap. I tried to keep long side of the pivot piece to be flush with one side of the slot in the base and used the pro-weld there. I hope that made sense. My new Valk arrived today. Here are couple more photos.
  14. My friend was visiting Japan and asked if there was anything I was looking for. I asked him to look for a DYRL VF-1S Strike Roy ver. He said he'd look while shopping around for toys for his collection. He eventually texted me "I am sending you this really cool flashlight". So I figured no Valk. He later texted me that the box he sent had a Valk in it. I indeed got a flashlight, and it came with a Valkyrie! So I am now the owner of a DYRL VF-1S Strike - Roy ver.
  15. Cool, exactly how I had it attached.
  16. Its holding up quite nicely, the YF-19 is probably the heaviest Valk in my collection and the YF adapter is holding it like a champ. I didn't want to force the adapter into place, but I was wondering if its supposed "click" into place?
  17. Thanks. I am still waiting for the Valk to be delivered, so I took some test shots with YF-19.
  18. David and Charger, Try looking for Ambroid Pro Weld, that's what I used. I bought it at a local hobby shop, hopefully you can find it locally. http://www.amazon.com/Ambroid-110-Pro-Weld/dp/B0035Y26HS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top Another alternative is Tenax-7R http://www.amazon.com/Tenax-7R/dp/B00EMXTBG0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411233679&sr=8-1
  19. The VF-27 looks awesome (my favorite Valk from Frontier), great job as always! Now that is a creative use of wire I like it. I agree with MJ, setup a gallery/album it helps quite a bit.
  20. There are so many possibilities for you, here are a few suggestions off the top of my head. Arcadia YF-19 is really nice VF-25 Renewal (the F is pretty well priced currently, the G and S are still high but the S reissue will be in Nov so try and catch one then. The RVF-25 and YF-25 is also well priced too) YF-29 would be nice too add too.
  21. Thank you for the tip. I'll assemble the other stands tomorrow and assemble one without the elbow.
