What is this?

As a newbie to the Macross scene and also as a recent inheritor of a pile of Macross I have a bunch of pieces I can't identify. This guy is from Bandai and unfortunately all the information cast on the toy is in Japanese which I can't read. I dig this figure but I can't find any information on what he is or what he looks like transformed. Any help is very appreciated! I love u guys, no really.

I also have these three gents who look like three they belong in my Mechwarrior collection but they were manufactured in 82 so that precludes MW by a bit. Any help on these too is mucho appreciated.

The first is an Orguss Orgroid. In the second picture, (left to right) a Destroid defender, destroid spartan, and a destroid phalanx, all in the Matchbox colors

BTW, the reason that they looked like they belonged in MechWarrior is tha tBattleTech/MechWarrior originally borrowed/licensed/stole(depending on who you ask) mech designs from several anime programs, Macross being one of them.

we didnt steal them, they were liscencsed and discontinued when it ran out. they kicked ass and still do, which is why they are so hot.
