Great picture hellohikaru. I knew that I had encountered an image of a VF-11C that was assigned to the SDF-6 Dark Queen II.

Would anyone fluent in Japanese here be able to translate the name of the squadron written next to the SVF-477?

My japanese is bad but

The katakana written next to it seems to say

Su te i n/m ga zu or su te i so ga zu

i have no idea what it means but a quick babblefish says Stain moth or Stay soviet moth one

The some of the paint jobs kind of give them a WWI feel, I wonder if that was intentional...
