Anybody got any information on how far the weapons of Zentraedi capital ships fire?

Zentradi Capital ships have never been given an official range for the distance their weapons can fire. Given that the Meltrandi and Zentradi war machines share similar capabilities, the Zentradi capital ships can most likely fire as far as the Macross (being a Meltrandi Gun Boat). The Macross has been shown to fire its main gun at a range of roughly up to one light second (300,000 kilometers). The first episode of SDF Macross quotes a distance of 280,000 km.

In the series, Zentradi capital ships have shown the ability to fire upon celestial objects outside of orbit (the destruction of a moon) and from orbital range (the bombardment of Earth). This would give the Zentradi ships a minimum range of a few thousand kilometers to several tens of thousands of kilometers.

A little correction. Only in DYRL is the Macross a Meltrandi gun boat. In the TV series, the Macross was a Supervision Army gun boat. Also the Meltrandi and Zentraedi used the same ships.
