Registering the Macross 30 code for extra planes

I am new to the PS3 and Macross 30 game. How do I register the code for extra planes?

First, you'll need a Japanese PSN account. Not as hard as you'd think, but I'm not sure how to set one up if you already have an account on your PS3?

What's next after registering for the JP PSN account?

Go to account management on the far right of the menu screen when logged in to your new account. Select Redeem Code (the icon with the 123) from the drop down list.

Enter said code using onscreen keyboard that appears.

A PlayStation store page should pop up allowing you to download bonus DLC.

PSN is free everywhere but I don't think you can have two accounts on any type of PS3.

Actually you can have as many accounts from as many regions on the one PS3 as you like. It's always been that way.
