They're basically going to end up substituting English jokes in for everything that doesn't translate well or requires an explanation. With this show, that means they're replacing a lot of the material and it almost makes me wonder why they don't just make their own show from scratch if they're going to put that much work into this just for a dub. It could be Erik Estrada and Bea Arthur as VAs and they wouldn't know! Repeat after me "I do not care how other people choose to watch their anime. I'm sure a lot of you have complained about ADV doing a Mickey Mouse job on their anime openings.
