Macross Dynamite 7 tech thread

Watch the OVA again. Discussion on status of Macross 7 fleet and the tech in UNG controlled. space rimward.

First off is Macross 7 fleet.

1. A new Battle 7 being built.

2. A new Three Star is being constructed. They already have one why two? My guess is Varauta and Macross 5 survivors opt to stay with Macross 7. So a new residential ship is added. Well along with the new Bodokan concert ship.

3. Construction type Battroid. Seems to be based on the VF-1. Macross 7 has this while Macross Frontier have a lame Destroid Work.

4. VF-17D replacing the VF-11C as the primary fighter of the fleet. In a flashback of Macross Frontier on the 117th Fleet the VF-171 was in service a year later Macross Dynamite 7. My take in this is General Galaxy slashed prices and sold VF-17D and VF-171 to fleets.

5. Some construction bots/ships whose funtions seen to be an equivalent of Worker Bee of Star Trek.

Zola Patrol

1. Zola Patrol Ship

I must say I like it. It looks like submersible ans probably is. It has a single beam gun like Valhalla II. Functionally it could be a carrier.

2. Zola Patrol Valkyries.

The Valkyries that Zola Patrol has are the VF-5000G Star Mirage, VF-5000T-G Star Mirage, VF-19P Excalibur (Till Basara stole it).

Zolans appear to have a knack of building their own versions of UN Spacy Valkyries. Though most could be refurbished surplus. In the Star Mirage is the VF-5000B while the Zolan variant is designated VF-5000G (with two types of head units) and VF-5000T-G. They have their own version of the VF-19, the VF-19P. Which closer to the VF-19A in air frame. Now we know Colony fleets like Macross 7, Macross Frontier and Macross Galaxy can make their own versions of Valkyries. Same case here.

Pirate fleet and Smugglers

The Pirate fleet here have three kinds of ships. One single manned the other two manned. Both escorted by VT-1C Valkyries. The last one is carrier type vessel with many VA-3C Invader Custom whalers.

The smugglers whom the pirate captain met was based in a asteroid field. They sell ams like the teal VF-17D, which was seen earlier with Macross 7 fleet. Also Fold boosters and Reaction weapons. Also they employ worker bee type ship seen in Macross 7 fleet.
