Considering that most Macross is not available legally in the western world, if you want Macross with subs, you're going to have to go to some iffy places and get iffy DVDs with iffy subs...so what's "best" is not really relevant... Some of them are available from reputable sellers like Amazon or Robotech.com (which had the first series really cheap for a while). Others aren't, and you're best bet would be ebay or something.
