gwfalcon
Hi folks: I am not sure which one is the so called chunky-money vf-1s. Depending on the head sculpt, is it the takatoku one or the bandai 1990 version? Thx for your answer.

I thought it refered to the whole line of 1/55 Valks
misterryno
IMO...A Cunky Monkey VF-1 is either a Takatoku or a Bandai. Or even a KO Joons.
Lord of Tetris
I have a question too... Why is it the chunky "monkey"? I understand the chunky part, but not why "monkey" is the animal of choice. Feels kinda like MGS, when Revolver Ocelot says, "And now, I will show you why they call me 'Revolver.'" Same reaction: "I KNOW why you're called 'Revolver,' I want to know why they call you 'OCELOT'!"
polidread
chunky monkey is a name rhyme. like funky monkey; money honey, see ya later alligator ~ after a while crocodile, now, revolver ocelot is also a codename, as foxhound members are given animal codenames which alludes to their abilities to some extent. ever wonder why we have Solid Snake, Vulcan Raven, Sniper Wolf, Gray Fox ? gwfalcon
Thx for all of your replies. Make it clear after a long time confusion. BTW, the new coming bandai ressue is actually with the takatoku head sculpt. Sign~~ personally think 1990 bandai version head is better.
