tetsujin
http://www.cybermodelcomp.com/ The Cyber Model Competition is a monthly modeling contest - most months it's fairly Gundam-specific, but this month (deadline is October 25th) is Sci-Fi month. If I'm not mistaken any non-Gundam science fiction subjects are eligible, including Macross. So if you've got a nice model you should consider entering. There's no prizes, but it's a fun contest nonetheless.
tetsujin
Deadline's tomorrow... I'm trying to get my Glaug ready. Anybody else entering?
Mechmaster
I've got lots of nice models but I'm not going to have time to get any pictures done, I should have spotted this thread sooner. Thanks for bringing the CMC to my attention though, maybe I will enter something another time.
Less than Super Ostrich
Perhaps I can enter the Desert Camo Super Ostrich!
combined arms
surf the site. there is some amazing work posted. also, they did a macross mecha contest in august 2002. here's the link: macross contest i think that it is only the winners, and not all of the entries though. tetsujin
Yeah, you can view the past entries, too, in addition to the winners. http://www.cybermodelcomp.com/old/past_ent_aug.shtml Ignore the half-finished battroid. I busted my ass trying to get that thing done by the CMC deadline (less than a month between the kit arriving at my door and the CMC deadline - and I failed, in the end) and after all that I was totally exhausted and burnt out, so I wanted to enter what I had. Plus it was my first Hasegawa, and it had a big impact on me. I wanted to show everybody what a real mecha kit looked like. (Sadly, the model I made from the kit wasn't quite up to par...)
