Guest Ghostbird
Has anyone pointed out that Isamu and Guld belonged to a club in while in high school called "Birdman"? Could there be a connection with Macross Zero's Protoculture Birdman? Probably just the creator's similar ideas, since the events of Mayan (2008) were kept secret until Macross 7 time (2045).... but you never know. -Ghostbird

Final Vegeta
There was a birdman cult in Easter Island. It was a title given to the winners of a dangerous race, but there are also carved images of men with bird's head. I think the name came from there. Is there any official comment/documented statement that around that time the general populace or general military became aware about the events of Macross Zero? Sure, Macross Compendium. Look for September 2008. FV
