jonwayne
Part 1 is here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...topic=10264&hl= Decided to change the lighting system again, and went around looking for this: http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/ccfltubes.html The cathode light tube wasn't so nice when I saw it. So, finally I bought this at a local shop: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...binet/LED_1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...binet/LED_2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...binet/LED_3.jpg For those interested to see how was it done: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...inet_Back_1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...inet_Back_2.jpg Finally completed: More pics here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...binet_3rd_1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...binet_3rd_3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...binet_3rd_4.jpg The price for the LED is SGD$25 per strip. 30 LEDs in a strip. I used 12 strips for the whole thing. Blue LED is more expensive. Other colour LED is only SGD$12 per strip. All runs on 12V DC supply. And in case anyone is interested in that headless gundam, here is a closeup: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw...ncomplete_1.jpg Not complete yet. That's why it's headless and handicapped. jonwayne
a SD gundam on the top shelf that was very big compared to the others what is its name?I think u mean this one:http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN53283 Picture of it can be seen in this catalog. 2nd row, 2nd column: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v94/mush...am73/page43.jpg Picture of mine: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/jonw.../SD_Gundam2.jpg how's the LED fed the juice to power up, is it by battery or wall socket?I used a 12V DC power supply adaptor. The adaptor is plugged into the wall socket. You can also mod one from a old PC power supply unit. These LED strips are meant for PC modification usage.
