I modified my display cabinet

Decided to change the lighting system again, and went around looking for this:

The cathode light tube wasn't so nice when I saw it. So, finally I bought this at a local shop:

The price for the LED is SGD$25 per strip. 30 LEDs in a strip. I used 12 strips for the whole thing. Blue LED is more expensive. Other colour LED is only SGD$12 per strip. All runs on 12V DC supply.

Not complete yet. That's why it's headless and handicapped.

excellent cases, i knew i have seen these before. just out of curiosuity i saw in another picture (but it is hard to see now) a SD gundam on the top shelf that was very big compared to the others what is its name? also i cannot wait to the that 1/24 RX-78 finished B))

how's the LED fed the juice to power up, is it by battery or wall socket?
I used a 12V DC power supply adaptor. The adaptor is plugged into the wall socket. You can also mod one from a old PC power supply unit. These LED strips are meant for PC modification usage. Edited by jonwayne
